We’re not over the hump day of the week yet, but that doesn’t mean we can’t plan ahead for the weekend.
For those already cultivating a list of PC titles you can play on your days off, may we suggest you check out these eight free games before you commit.
Each one of these experiences are free to download, play, and keep.
Without further ado, let’s see what these Steam offerings are.
Scauage – This horror game might be short, but it makes up for its shortness with its scares. As a scavenger you’ll search an abandoned house, ultimately finding more than you bargained for.
Dead by Skill Check – A little unusual though this experience may be, it’s a fantastic way to improve your Dead by Daylight skills. Come on now, many of us have been caught out by those QTEs, so it pays to practice.
Mr. Pogo – Although a lot of people find clowns creepy, this little fella isn’t scary. Still, the levels of the 2D world he lives in aren’t for the fainthearted. Will you manage to jump your way to the end?
Escape From Castle Matsumoto – This retro stylised game is all about beating your opponent. Two shinobis are trying to purloin the same items, but only one can succeed.
THRILLKINGS – You need to be able to think and act fast in this high energy FPS. As the name suggests, expect to experience multiple thrills while you try to vanquish your foes.
Cards of Eternity: The Wheel of Time – Don’t let its card game format fool you, there’s much mysticism and wonder to be found here. Although you need to use your wits to outplay others, there’s more to this game than its card battles.
Lyra Convolution – This is giving us Portal vibes, albeit very loosely. This is a sort of free-for-all experience that showcases what Unreal Engine 5 can do.
Tales of Fearless – Live life in miniature in this MMORPG. Although its graphics are cute, there’s a lot of depth to this 2D RPG, so don’t enter into this adventure without thinking it through first.
Why are you still here reading? You should be downloading one or more of the games we just mentioned!
