The NieR: Automata DLC for Stellar Blade and players are loving it, except maybe this one thing though. Fans are loving the thematic tie-ins and new gameplay features, as well as a cheeky Easter egg aimed at curbing inappropriate behavior.

Released on November 20, 2024, this collaboration introduced new cosmetics, gameplay updates, and a playful nod to fans of both titles. One of the main easter eggs is the playful mechanism that stops players from attempting to look up Eve’s skirt. If you try to, you’ll find yourself receiving a swift kick in the face.

The collaboration between Stellar Blade and NieR: Automata brings a lot of cool things that NieR fans will like. The DLC adds 11 new items to Stellar Blade, including costumes inspired by 2B and A2, cosmetics for supporting characters, and even a themed drone accessory.

These are available through Emil’s Shop, a direct nod to NieR lore, now integrated into Stellar Blade‘s world. Players can obtain these items by locating Stellar Tears in the Wastelands and Great Desert regions. These collectibles are marked in the in-game databank with visual hints.

The DLC celebrates NieR: Automata’s influence on Stellar Blade with a clever Easter egg. Much like 2B’s camera-swatting antics in NieR: Automata, Eve now kicks the camera if players try to sneak a peek under her skirt.

While some might call it unnecessary censorship, fans familiar with the NieR series recognize it as an affectionate callback to its quirky, self-aware humor. NieR: Replicant’s Kaine does the same move when players try it in the game.

So on the Kaine achievement isn’t as black and white as id thought-
When you look at her she will kick away the camera and ridicule the player…. You get the achievement after she kills the camera and gives you a game over-
