The cast of Love Is Blind UK sat down in the pods for a couple of weeks to get to know someone sight-unseen, so probably spoke in depth about things like their upbringing, education, early lives and university.
However for us, all of this information is stuff we have to look up – as we become more and more interested in the lives of the people we’re watching undergo a huge experiment, on international television.
So, let’s find out a bit more about the cast. Here is a rundown of all the cast members of season one of Love Is Blind UK who went to university, and what they studied.
Sam Klein
Of course London posh boy Sam went to uni. Sam was privately-educated, having gone to Aldenham School, a private boarding school in Elstree.
After his posho schooling, Sam went to Leeds Beckett University, where he studied broadcast media technologies. He was on the football team at uni, and graduated in 2010.
Sabrina Egerton
Sabrina is a star pupil, having finished uni with a first class honours. She studied digital marketing and sales at the Dún Laoghaire Institute of Art, Design and Technology in Ireland.
She graduated in 2019, and posting on Instagram said: “It was an incredibly proud moment and is proof that just because you don’t do things the way everyone else does doesn’t mean you won’t achieve them.
“I dropped out of university the first time round and started working full-time for CDC leisure as a press relations officer. 11 years later Im group marketing manager for a fantastic company working with great brands and now I have the piece of paper to go along with it. No matter what you do in life, give it everything you’ve got.”
Tom Stroud
Tom also went to uni, having achieved a 2:1 from the University of the West of England. He studied marketing, and graduated in 2009.
Jasmine
Jasmine confirmed in an Instagram Q&A that before the show she went to university. She moved to the Philippines as a child, and then aged 13 moved to east London, where she studied for both college and university. After graduating, she moved to Dubai. She now works as a mental health nurse.
Steven Smith
Brummie Steven said on the show he went to uni in Bristol. Just like Tom, Steven studied at the University of the West of England, and also graduated in 2009. Maybe they knew each other? Steven’s degree is in construction management.
