The Penguin is the story of a power tussle between the likes of Colin Farrell‘s Oswald ‘Oz’ Cobb and Cristin Milioti‘s Sofia Falcone, as they both rush to fill the space left by the death of kingpin Carmine Falcone.

As the tussle takes on some unexpected turns, fans were treated to a story that they fell in love with all over again. The events that unfold in the Rhenzy Feliz starrer are all set to have a bearing on how The Batman – II will shape up. With Oz Cobb at the helm of Gotham’s underworld, everything is poised very nicely for the sequel.

While there is a lot to look forward to for fans of the DC Universe, it is too early for them to move on from the buzz that the series has created. With a stellar rating of 95% on Rotten Tomatoes, the series is already a hit amongst the fans of the franchise.

The Penguin’s success has set things up nicely for Colin Farrell’s ‘Oz’ Cobb, who looks all set to become an overarching nemesis for the Dark Knight going forward. And fans would not have it any other way.

Ryder Allen has officially stolen the show

Colin Farrell stole the show in the titular role. Cristin Milioti was not far behind on the list of wonderful performers as well, forcing DC fans to form camps. While their performances were central to the show’s success, there was another who the fans have grown to love.

Ryder Allen, though still 12 years of age, won the hearts of many fans playing the role of Young Oz. Though not one of the many characters who could boast of a substantial amount of screentime, the teen killed it with his performance.

No wonder the fans are rallying behind him in strong numbers.

While it is anyone’s guess who would win, Young Oz has stolen more hearts as of now. Word has it that Penguin will be returning to the underworld of Gotham in 2026, though not for a substantial role. Fans would hope that they sneak in a little of Ryder Allen as well.
