The first female Adeptus Custodes in the Warhammer 40K universe has voiced out the demand of a DLC of Space Marine 2.

The gaming fraternity has been hyping up Warhammer 40K: Space Marine 2 for so long. Finally, their wait has come to an end, and this highly anticipated title has been released on September 9, 2024, on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and Windows.

However, the franchise on which the game is based has unveiled a huge revelation that has shocked many fans. And this revelation is a one-of-a-kind aspect of the legendary miniature wargame company.

Adeptus Custodes are an elite group of genetically modified warriors in the Warhammer 40K universe who are responsible for protecting the Emperor of Mankind. Known as the Legio Custodes, they are the last line of defense between the Emperor and his enemies.
However, so far, this group has been an all-men cadre for the 10th edition of Adeptus Custodes Codex. Now, according to this codex, Games Workshop has released a new Warhammer 40K animation featuring a new female Custodian protagonist, Tyrith Shiva Kyrus, who appears in ‘Harvest’, episode two of the ‘The Tithes’ series on Warhammer TV.
It’s pretty disappointing that the inclusion of the female protagonist in the Adeptus Custodes is itself a pretty big news. But the more disappointing part is that there have been huge controversies regarding the fact this was an all-male composition. Regarding the circumstances, this is what the company stated:
This fact came as a real surprise to many, since it wasn’t something previously explored. That, in and of itself, isn’t a particularly unusual thing for Warhammer 40,000 and its lore; there are simply loads of things the Warhammer Studios have never expressly stated, whether that’s ruling them in or out.
Keeping aside all the baseless controversies, this is an exciting approach to including a female Custodes in the team. And with the inclusion of Tyrith Shiva Kyrus, another part of the community can surely hope for a new DLC of Space Marine 2, including a new female character.
Titus Is There in Space Marine 2

Captain Demetrius Titus is probably the most popular character in the franchise. The main protagonist of the game has featured in numerous games and silver screens of Warhammer 40K. Titus was a firstborn captain and commander of the Ultramarines 2nd Company and later a Primaris Marine Lieutenant.
He fought for the Imperium of Man for more than 200 Terran years, and that is why he is considered to be one of the greatest heroes of the Ultramarines. And he took the spotlight in Space Marine and made the title huge.
Now, it has been confirmed by the Chief Creative Officer of Saber Interactive, Tim Willits, that Titus will be a part of the new game as well. Titus was last seen in Space Marine, where he was demoted at the end of the game, and then he went on to spend 200 Terran years in Deathwatch. Now, the recently launched game is going to be a fresh start for the hugely popular character.
What’s your opinion on a new DLC of Space Marine 2 featuring Tyrith Shiva Kyrus?
