Several theories have been proposed about what could happen to Xavier in Wednesday season 2. Xavier was one of the most intriguing characters in the series, especially because of his strange connection to Wednesday. Seeing as Wednesday season 1 ended on a cliffhanger with little explanation or insight into Xavier’s true nature, the show could still revisit the character, even if indirectly.
Wednesday Season 2 Theory Suggests That Xavier Is Another Hyde
Xavier had vivid dreams of the Hyde
One of the biggest theories about what could happen in Wednesday season 2 is Xavier being revealed as another Hyde. There are several reasons as to why this theory is plausible. Throughout Wednesday season 1, Xavier had recurring dreams of the Hyde, which he would later paint. Seeing as there was no explanation of why he was having these vivid dreams, the most likely reason is that he had a guilty conscience, and so he wanted to get to the bottom of the Hyde mystery to figure out if he was the one attacking people.
Hydes are usually artistic, and the fact that Xavier can paint and bring his work to life supports the theory that he could be a Hyde since he had multiple drawings of the creature. Further, Xavier being a Hyde could be essential to shedding light on his father, Vincent Thorpe’s character. As a child, Xavier was mostly neglected by his father who was obsessed with how people perceived his family. Vincent’s neglect and cruelty might have been his way of keeping Xavier’s Hyde identity a secret.
Wednesday’s Convincing Xavier Theory Is Too Repetitive After Tyler’s Betrayal
Wednesday season 2 should take another direction when it comes to Hydes
Although the theory about Xavier being a Hyde is convincing, it risks being repetitive, especially after Tyler’s betrayal in Wednesday season 1. Wednesday initially thought that Xavier was the Hyde, but after that was disproved, the two seem to be getting close, leading to theories about Xavier being a potential love interest. The fact that Wednesday and Xavier’s relationship is beginning to seem similar to the one she had with Tyler, Wednesday season 2 would seem like season 1 but with a new Hyde.
There are several directions Wednesday season 2 can take when it comes to Hydes such as explaining what happened to Tyler’s mom. Additionally, Tyler will be returning for Wednesday season 2. This presents an opportunity for Wednesday to delve into Tyler’s backstory and give a thorough explanation of the true nature of Hydes instead of going back to a storyline that was already thoroughly explored in Wednesday season 1.
