After parting ways with playing Julian in 2019, Jenna Dewan initially went on to play Joanna in the short-lived Netflix musical drama Soundtrack.

Soundtrack also arrived in 2019, but Netflix canceled the show after a single season. However, this wasn’t the role that many now know Jenna Dewan for. In 2021, the actress signed on with ABC to portray another career-defining character – Bailey Nune in the hit Nathan Filion-led police procedural The Rookie.

The Rookie has been one of ABC’s most popular shows since it debuted on the network in 2018. Jenna Dewan joined the show in season 3, with her character Bailey initially being a recurring character before becoming a main cast member from season 4 onward.
