John B, Sarah Cameron, and the Pogues in Outer Banks Following a year and a half wait, Outer Banks season 4 part 1 is finally hitting Netflix on October 10, 2024. The hit teen drama brings back John B and the Pogues for yet another treasure hunt, following their successful adventures surrounding the Royal Merchant in season 1, the Cross of Santo Domingo in season 2, and El Dorado in Outer Banks season 3’s ending. This time around, the Pogues are being recruited to help find valuable artifacts related to the famous pirate Edward Teach, aka Blackbeard, around the Outer Banks.

Outer Banks season 3 was released on Netflix in February 2023, so it’s been quite some time since the teens’ last treasure hunt. Notably, Outer Banks season 3 ended with an 18-month time jump after the Pogues collected the gold from El Dorado, so the gap between their dangerous adventures generally aligns with the real-world gap between seasons. However, Outer Banks season 4’s story will be released on Netflix in two parts, with the first batch dropping on the streaming service on October 10, 2024.

The long-awaited Outer Banks season 4, part 1 releases at 3 a.m. ET on Thursday, October 10, 2024 on Netflix. Compared to other time zones, Outer Banks season 4, part 1 hits Netflix on Thursday, October 10 at 12 a.m. PT, 2 a.m. CT, and 8 a.m. BST. Unlike past outings of the show, which dropped all episodes of the entire season at once, Netflix is splitting Outer Banks season 4’s 10 total episodes into a two-part release with five episodes each.

Thankfully, the wait for Outer Banks season 4, part 2 won’t be too long. Outer Banks season 4, episodes 6–10 will be released at 3 a.m. ET on November 7, 2024 on Netflix. The final five episodes will wrap up the Pogues’ hunt for Blackbeard’s valuable artifacts and solve some of the mysteries introduced in season 4, part 1. So far, Outer Banks season 5 hasn’t been confirmed by Netflix, but it seems likely that the Pogues will be able to find yet another treasure-hunting adventure after Blackbeard.
