The upcoming finale must contend with the aftermath of the Eregion’s fall, Adar’s fate, and the Nine Rings for Men. Further from Eregion, there’s also the matter of the Stranger’s true identity to deal with and the decline of Númenor. Those two stories are absent from episode 7, so the next installment will need to address them before closing the curtain on the current season.
