Young Thug may have gotten special permission from the judge who freed him to work with Gunna, but it seems like he might not take her up on the opportunity, if a new post on X is any indication.
On Saturday (November 9), Thugger posted — then quickly deleted — a message to his YSL compatriot and former codefendant.
“Gunna stop acting like we friends on the internet, I don’t know u my guy,” he wrote.

Many have speculated about tension between Thug and Gunna since the latter pleaded guilty to a racketeering conspiracy charge in late 2022 in the YSL case in which both rappers were indicted.
Gunna and his legal team entered an Alford plea where he pleaded guilty to one charge because it was in his best interest to do so as far as his freedom goes.
He told WSB-TV at the time: “I want to make it perfectly clear that I have NOT made any statements, have NOT been interviewed, have NOT cooperated, have NOT agreed to testify or be a witness for or against any party in the case and have absolutely NO intention of being involved in the trial process in any way.
“My focus of YSL was entertainment — rap artists who wrote and performed music that exaggerated and ‘glorified’ urban life in the Black community.”
Since being released, Thug has reached out to Lil Baby for a collab — a move some interpreted as a shot at Gunna.
On Sunday morning (November 3), Thugga took to X (formerly Twitter) with only his second tweet since his release from the Fulton County Jail in Atlanta on October 31.
“Wham let’s drop one on these rats peter,” he wrote, referring to Lil Baby by his nickname.
He stopped short, however, of tagging Baby directly in the post.
Lil Baby quickly responded on his Instagram Stories, posting a video soundtracked by his and Thug’s 2020 collaboration “We Should.”
He then wrote a welcome home message to Thug, saying: “I missed you mf!!!! Welcome home my brudda! Thank God you able to get back to your fam in good health and spirits! Wish ya none but billions jack! #whatwhamsaysgoes.”
