The reigning Super Bowl champions are known for their unusual playbook under coach Andy Reid.

Mahomes is hoping to lead the team to a historic third-consecutive Super Bowl title next season.

No team in the NFL has ever won more than two Super Bowls in a row.

Fans recently declared the league was in trouble after seeing the Chiefs’ fluidity in training camp drills.

And the latest footage to emerge has done nothing to calm nerves amongst Kansas City’s AFC rivals.

In the clip, Mahomes is seen exchanging laterals with wide receiver Kadarius Toney.

The wideout takes the ball from the snap, before throwing to a wide-open Mahomes on the left side of the field.

Rather than aiming downfield, Mahomes returned the ball to Toney as the defense struggled to read the play.

Toney then showed off his impressive arm with a deep ball pass toward a wide-open Xavier Worthy on the play.

The rookie speedster walked in the touchdown to cheers from the watching crowd in St. Joseph, Missouri.

“Now we’re just showing off. LOL I dig it!” wrote one fan on X in response to the footage.

“100% a play that would be used against the Raiders,” laughed a second.

“I don’t ever wanna see this in a game,” countered a third.

“Gotta put it on film so teams think this is an actual possibility lmaooo,” joked a fourth.

Three-time Super Bowl winner Mahomes recently opened up about his earnings after slipping down the current NFL wage chart.

Mahomes signed a record-breaking 10-year, $450 million deal with the Chiefs in 2020.

At the time, it was the biggest contract in American sports history.

But in recent years, the field has caught up, and several rival QBs now earn more annually than the Chiefs’ play-caller.

“It’s awesome for the game of football,” Mahomes told USA Today, in response to his rivals getting a pay-bump.

“I’m doing pretty well myself. For me, it’s just about going out there trying to win football games, trying to make money for my family at the end of the day.

“I feel like I’m doing a great job of that.”
