Justin Bieber and his wife, Hailey Baldwin, have mostly cleaned their social media accounts of personal pictures.
In the tabloid world, that’s the sign that the party is over. Is it? What a shame if it is, because they looked very happy for a long time, at least on Instagram. The couple met in 2009, and may have started dating between 2011 and 2014. They were married in 2019.
But both accounts have whittled down couples pictures to just one or two. On Justin’s page, the best picture of him with a female is with Lori Harvey, the apparently very popular daughter of Steve Harvey. She’s labeled a “wonderful woman” in all caps.
Last month, Hailey’s dad, Stephen Baldwin, wrote on social media, “Christians, please when you think of Justin & Hailey, take a moment to offer a little prayer for them.”
Since they married, Justin has suffered from both physical and mental ailments that have curtailed his career. He’s also thought to have lost or dismissed manager Scooter Braun.
Hailey has, at the same, developed her own company and promoted herself as a model. She’s certainly achieved more during the marriage than her husband.
Justin hasn’t released an album in three years, since “Justice.” In the pop world three years is an eternity (just ask Justin Timberlake). He also now has a history of cancelling tours and concerts, which won’t make it easy to start up again. Insurers don’t like that.
Is there a marker in their pre-nup that would force the issue now? Hailey Baldwin would in any case come out of this as a very wealthy woman. And she and her family will be paid to keep quiet about the whole adventure for at least a decade.
It doesn’t look good.
