THE Voice alum Blake Shelton has confessed that he doesn’t regret leaving the singing competition as a coach in 2023.
However, Blake explained that though he was content with his choice, he’d be willing to change his mind if a key change happened on The Voice in the future.

The country music star, 47, made his mark on the NBC program as he was there from the debut season until his departure last year.
When the show kicked off, The Voice coaches included Blake, Adam Levine, Christina Aguilera, and Cee-Lo Green.
The four award-winning entertainers brought the show to life, helping build its popularity, along with the talented contestants who competed.
In a recent interview with Entertainment Tonight, Blake admitted that he missed coaching with the above-mentioned stars.
His revelation came after Entertainment Tonight asked the Ol’ Red crooner about the possibility of him rejoining The Voice as a coach.
“I miss the people. I mean, those people became like family to me, literally from the crew all up to the producers of the show, Blake told the news outlet.
“I was with them more than I was with my family… I miss that,” he added.
Although Blake misses his famous former colleagues, he doesn’t “miss the job at all.”
‘NEEDED A BREAK’
He further explained: “I totally needed a break from that because if I wasn’t into it, then it wasn’t good for whoever was on my team.
I don’t want to be someone who’s just going through the motions. Those artists need somebody fighting for them.”

Blake divulged that he realized he “needed [to get] away from” The Voice when he couldn’t “remember what season it was” during his tenure.
While he remains steadfast in his decision to leave, the original coaching crew on The Voice being brought back could change his mind.
“If they were ever able to put together the original four coaches again, maybe [I’d return] for one season, a one-off,” Blake stated.
“That would be fun for me… That would be something I would be interested in doing.”

NOT ALL BAD
Although it got tough for Blake toward his exit, he greatly benefited from being on the show.
The Voice connected him with his now wife, Gwen Stefani, 54.
He met her when she joined the series as a coach in Season 7.
They began dating in 2015, while they were both going through divorces, were engaged in 2020, and jumped the broom in 2021.
“The first season she was on The Voice we met [but] we really didn’t talk that much,” he recalled to Entertainment Tonight.
He continued: “If you would’ve told me the first season that we met that’s what was gonna happen, I would’ve been like, ‘No, we actually don’t even have anything to even talk about.
What are you talking about?’ It’s crazy how things work out.”
