Although fans might be tired of these countless reboots, the Ocean’s Eleven movie could be rebooted into an actually well-curated story. That’s what Channing Dungey, the chairman and CEO of Warner Bros. Television Group said at the Banff World Media Festival recently.

As per a report by Deadline, the chairman talked about several movies that could potentially be remade into a TV series. While talking about these films, she gave the name of Ocean’s Eleven as an example. However, it doesn’t seem like the example was just a coincidence!

I think about things like Ocean’s Eleven, for example. That kind of a caper film, which is a great two-hour romp and what we might be able to do with that in sort of a limited series format, things like that might be kind of fun.

However, there’s a slight catch.

But there are just so many titles that it’s really more about someone walking into the office with a perspective or a point of view, or this is why we should do this in this way. It’s not like there’s one title that I’m like, ‘Oh, I can’t wait to dust it off.’

This catch, however, might work in the favor of Brad Pitt as Ocean’s Eleven already feels like a film in which further stories can be told. The alleged TV series would be a limited series and could shatter records in comparison to modern streaming series.

Further fuel to the fire can be added by the fact that George Clooney once revealed that he has plans for a sequel and that it is a good script. Well, even if the limited TV series were to be made, there’s just no way that OG director Steven Soderbergh will return to the franchise.
