Britney Spears has shared another deeply personal post on Instagram. Revealing how she has been ‘completely destroyed’, the troubled star gave insight into her healing journey.

Britney Spears has revealed she was “completely destroyed” in a deeply personal message in which she asks questions about “this game we call life”.

The 42-year-old Princess of Pop took to Instagram on Monday night to share her latest thoughts and insight into her healing journey. Posting a selection of photographs of herbal remedies and a blurred acupuncture diagram, Britney spoke about her recent “wild” trip to Las Vegas with her older brother, 47-year-old Bryan Spears.

Describing the holiday, Britney wrote: “So weird!!! I had a wild trip to Vegas and got a cold again !!! I really liked jamming with my brother !!! He fed me Alaskan crab and I realized I wasn’t alone at 3:00 in the morning during a night drive where I saw more people on the strip than I’ve ever seen in my life !!! It was pretty cool !!!”

The Gimme More songstress then described how a meeting with an old friend made her ponder over life’s big questions. She wrote: “I met up with an old friend then realized how interesting time is !!! And to what makes it in my head speed up or slow down !!! What feeds your soul or what serves you interest and what makes you really want to participate in this game we call life !!! Or is it a game at all ???”

Continuing to use the metaphor of a game to describe her life, she said: “I’ve had enough balls to serve any running season but most of the time I sat on the bench and never played at all because by observing, it’s a much safer cosy view and usually if I did get the ball, I wanted to reflect in people’s eyes destruction !!! Something so different and wrong and broken so they might understand how completely destroyed I really was !!!”

The troubled star then revealed that she has “a secret” that she “might never be able to fully share”. She added: “There’s nothing better than the beauties of mystified destruction.”

Britney has a famously complicated relationship with her mum and dad and in April, the star was ordered to fork out an estimated $2 million (about £1.5 million) to cover her father Jamie Spears’ legal fees after the duo settled a legal battle over the possible mishandling of her controversial conservatorship.

Britney recently raised concern amongst fans when she sustained a foot injury after an alleged fight with her on-off boyfriend Paul Richard Soliz. Towards the end of the rambling post, Britney described how she was using natural remedies to heal her body. She wrote: “Everywhere I go I have a mini travel suitcase with rosemary, tea tree oil, my two new favourite face wands, and candles !!!I think it’s important for all women who have witnessed real madness of life to take time to reset, regroup, and manage yourself in finding ways to heal your body !!!”
