BRITNEY Spears has sparked concern and curiosity over a baffling social media post about shredded cheese and sex.

On Thursday, the 42-year-old singer shared a picture of American brand Tillamook’s Mexican Blend cheese shreds on her Instagram account.

She captioned the photograph, “When people say let’s celebrate love and freedom this year … I prefer to just f***.”

While Britney has turned off comments on her Instagram posts, the singer’s fans reacted to her “enigmatic” picture and caption on X/Twitter.

One person said they felt like “I’m losing my mind” over Britney “posting the exact brand and flavor of cheese I love with this caption.”

“Obsessed with this enigmatic Britney Spears post. Why the Cheese,” a second comment read.

“I don’t celebrity worship but I do gaf (give a f***) about Britney Spears, she raised us as an exploited child herself,” another comment read. “ANYWAY didn’t expect her to post a photo of a bag of cheese that says ‘there’s no stopping this topping’ with the caption ‘I prefer to just f*** this Thursday afternoon.”

Some people predicted a surge in the popularity of the phrase “there’s no stopping this topping” over Britney’s use of it, with one follower writing, “oh what has she done?”

Others gave up trying to decode the cryptic post that, at first glance, was mistaken as an Instagram ad for cheese.

SINGLE LADY

The “Toxic” singer’s baffling post comes shortly after Britney vowed “to never be with another man” and declared she was “single as f***” in a since-amended Instagram post, suggesting she had broken up with her boyfriend Paul Richard Soliz.

On July 7, Britney called the 37-year-old contractor out over their run-in with the paparazzi.

Britney took to her Instagram Stories to share a paparazzi picture of herself and Paul in a car. In the photograph, Britney can be seen crouching low in the passenger seat, while the 37-year-old contractor shields his face with his hand.

“Why was he going 90 in a neighborhood with one pap following only to roll the window down when the pap pulls to the side of me ????” Britney questioned Paul’s handling of the encounter.

“Then he calls his mom and says he’s being harassed,” she added. “Why did he roll the window down with me crying in the seat???”

Shortly after, the Grammy-winner posted a mysterious image on her feed that read, “Her attitude is savage, but her heart is gold.”

According to screenshots obtained by Page Six, she captioned the post, “I will never be with another man as long as I live !!!”

The caption has since been deleted.

Britney reportedly began dating Paul, her former housekeeper, after her split from ex-husband Sam Asghari in August 2023.

Britney married fitness instructor Sam in June 2022, after more than five years of dating. Just 14 months later, Sam filed for divorce over “irreconcilable differences.”

Addressing their separation in a since-deleted Instagram post last August, Britney admitted she was a “little shocked” but declined to “explain why” their relationship had ended adding, “it’s honestly nobody’s business.”

“But, I couldn’t take the pain anymore honestly!” she captioned a video that showed Britney dabbing her face and neck with a tissue. “In some sort of telepathic way, I have been receiving so many messages that melt my heart from friends and I thank you. I’ve been playing it strong for way too long and my Instagram may seem perfect but it’s far from reality and I think we all know that!”

Britney continued, “I would love to show my emotions and tears on how I really feel but some reason I’ve always had to hide my weaknesses !!! If I wasn’t my dad’s strong soldier, I would be sent away to places to get fixed by doctors !!! But that’s when I needed family the most!!! You’re supposed to be loved unconditionally … not under conditions!

“So I will be as strong as I can and do my best !!! And I’m actually doing pretty damn good !!! Anyways, have a good day and don’t forget to smile,” she finished.

Britney and Sam reached a divorce settlement earlier this year in May.
