Good Lady Cate is done with recycling her old frocks and she’s ready to go for the gold. The star of Rumours stepped out in a dazzling custom Louis Vuitton gown for the Cannes Film Festival premiere and we’d almost think she was kicking off her Oscar campaign.

Who knows? Maybe she is, although the film, which evidently features a giant glowing brain, doesn’t sound like Oscar bait to us. Still, we can’t fault a diva for dressing like a diva. It’s a stunner, although the yoke is rather heavy and stiff looking and the seam running across the bottom of it is alarmingly irregular.
