Johnny Depp, after a dozen years of being together, left the mother of his children, Vanessa Paradis , and started a relationship with the actress Amber Heard , who was almost twice his age and whom he met on a film set . The marriage lasted 15 months and was really stormy, but it turned out that the arguments between the lovers were nothing compared to the divorce battle.

Amber started with a high C and showed photos of her face bruised by Johnny in the media and demanded 100 million dollars. The actor did not respond to this move in any way, but hired the best lawyers in the States. Amber followed up and began publishing more sensational photos of her bruises or videos of a drunk Depp shouting something. Then friends and loved ones of the actor started to speak up, unanimously taking his side, claiming that he never had problems with aggression, even Vanessa spoke out, writing an open letter to the media, in which she wrote with great class about Johnny as a calm, warm person who never used any form of violence.

What did Amber Heard donate $7 million to?

The battle for half of Depp’s $200 million fortune began to tip in Depp’s favor, and the testimony of additional witnesses such as the building’s caretaker, neighbors, and security guard ultimately brought down the young actress. As TMZ reported a moment ago, Amber wants to give the entire amount of the divorce settlement to charity .

The entire amount will be divided between two institutions – the ACLU (an American non-profit organization whose goal is to protect civil rights guaranteed by the constitution – editor’s note) with special emphasis on the section dealing with violence against women, and the Children’s Hospital in Los Angeles, where I worked as a volunteer for ten years. (…) Money has never been important to me, except in this situation, in which I wanted to support the wronged and less privileged. I hope that this experience will result in a positive change in the lives of people who need it most.

However, American gossip blogs have been reporting that, in the face of the PR disaster caused by Johnny’s witness statements, image consultants have even ordered Amber to save her PR by donating the entire settlement to charity. Interestingly, Amber managed to get seven million dollars , which is not even 1/10 of the amount she had previously requested:
