Diddy once wanted to party with Prince William and Prince Harry!
In a resurfaced 2011 interview on The Graham Norton Show, the rapper talked about trying to get the royals to one of his famous bashes — but only when they were “young bucks.” When asked if it was true that he wanted to party with the famous brothers, Puff Daddy teased:
“Not anymore.”
This aired just a few months before William and Princess Catherine tied the knot, causing the host to joke:
“Don’t ruin our royal wedding for us.”
The Sean John founder then confirmed:
“Trust me, they’re off the list.”
But were they ever really on it? The Last Night vocalist explained:
“Before when they were young bucks growing up and they were getting in a lot of trouble themselves, so, hey, I was like, ‘Why don’t you come hang out with me?’”
Yeeeeeeesh!!!! Ch-ch-check it out:
On the one hand, it makes sense. Hollywood A-listers partying with famous Brits isn’t that weird — especially considering Harry was already making headlines for his wild Vegas parties when he was young! But when you put it into the context of Diddy’s latest allegations, it’s SO ICKY!!!
After numerous sexual assault lawsuits, the musician was arrested last week on charges of sex trafficking, racketeering, and more. Part of his lengthy indictment accused him of throwing nefarious parties known as “Freak Offs,” in which people were allegedly drugged and assaulted.
Furthermore, fans have also noticed his apparent pattern of partying with young men! During Usher‘s rise to fame, he actually lived with P. Diddy as a teen, and in later interviews, he revealed things got pretty “crazy” behind closed doors. Meanwhile, Diddy once bragged about taking custody of a teenage Justin Bieber for 48 hours to party as well. And Beliebers think the Holy singer might’ve been hinting at some of the shady things he saw in Diddy’s orbit in his Yummy music video. So, the fact that Diddy ONLY wanted to party with Will and Harry when they were “young” is concerning!
While it’s unclear if the royals ever actually went partying with Diddy, they did cross paths. In 2007, the I’ll Be Missing You artist performed at a benefit concert in honor of Princess Diana at Wembley Arena. They were photographed alongside Kanye West at the afterparty. See (below):

The Duke of Sussex was also name-dropped in producer Rodney “Lil Rod” Jones‘ sexual harassment and abuse suit earlier this year, in which he claimed people were drawn to the Grammy winner because of his access to celebs like “famous athletes, political figures, artist [sic], musicians and international dignitaries like British royal Prince Harry.” So, yeah, that certainly suggests they had a friendly relationship — to say the least!
