Following the arrest of Sean “Diddy” Combs, internet users are buzzing with wild conspiracy theories about a “new Justin Bieber song” that ties the two celebrities together.
Earlier this month, Diddy was arrested in New York and slapped with charges of sex trafficking and racketeering. After entering a not guilty plea and being bail denied twice, he is currently being held at the Metropolitian Detention Center in Brooklyn.
Following the shock arrest, a puzzling track that initially surfaced in April started making its viral rounds again, especially due to Bieber’s longstanding rapport with the hip-hop mogul since his days as an up-and-coming teen idol. Listeners were unsettled by TikTok videos purporting to feature lyrics from the artist indicating he “lost [himself] at a Diddy party,” and stating that “it cost [him] way more than [his] soul, wasn’t worth all the fortune and fame.”
In the middle of these accusations, Bieber’s fans have scrutinized the lyrics which superficially imply a sinister message.
However, it’s been confirmed there’s no validity to the rumors surrounding the song verse.

The disputed opening line reads: “Lost myself at a Diddy party, didn’t know that’s how it go, I was in it for a new Ferrari, but it cost me way more than my soul, wasn’t worth all the fortune and fame.”
However, as verified by the fact-checking site Snopes, there is no solid evidence to support the existence of the song.
As of this article’s publishing, no official confirmation has been received from any reliable sources.
Some online commentators have even suggested that the track was actually created by artificial intelligence (AI).
Bieber and Diddy’s relationship dates back to the beginning of the Canadian pop star’s career at age 15 when he signed to Usher’s record label.

In the clip, Diddy said: “He’s having forty-eight hours with Diddy, where we hanging out and what we’re doing we can’t really disclose, but it’s definitely a 15-year-old’s dream.”
Describing his role as Bieber’s mentor, Combs explained: “I have been given custody of him. He’s signed to Usher and I had legal guardianship of Usher when he did his first album. I don’t have legal guardianship of him [Bieber] but for the next forty-eight hours he’s with me and we’re gonna go full crazy.”
When asked about his plans, Bieber told Diddy: “Let’s go get some girls.”
To which Diddy responded: “Man after my heart. That’s what I’m talking about.”
The One Time singer has yet to issue a public statement on Diddy’s legal woes.

However, an individual close to the newly minted dad shared with PEOPLE that since the arrival of baby Jack, Justin and wife Hailey Bieber are absorbed in “a happy bubble,” with the new dad fully focused on his roles as a loving father and spouse.
In the recent court documents, it’s been alleged by Rodney “Lil Rod” Jones that Diddy threw so-called “freak off” gatherings, claiming the 54 year old hip-hop mogul holds “recordings of several celebrities, artists, music label executives, and athletes engaging in illegal activity.”
The documents further allege that these recordings were made “without their knowledge and consent,” accusing that during these supposed events, minors were pressured into “commercial sex acts.” For his part, Diddy has entered a plea of not guilty to the charges against him and has rebufatted any allegations of misconduct.
Diddy and his legal vehemently maintain his innocence.
Mark Agnifilo, Diddy’s defense lawyer, speaking with journalists outside the courthouse last week said: “Mr Combs is a fighter, he’s going to fight this to the end. He’s innocent. He came to New York to establish his innocence. He’s not afraid, he’s not afraid of the charges.”
