Although the official cast list for Dancing With The Stars Season 33 is still unknown, fans are eagerly gossiping about potential cast members. Could Baby Reindeer & DWTS Make A Good Match?

At first, it seems a little strange to think about Baby Reindeer cast members on the show. However, the DWTS casting department always goes after talent that makes headlines. Tiger King‘s Carole Baskin joined the show back in Season 29. She didn’t perform well, but many tuned in to see the cat enthusiast perform.

Since Baby Reindeer captured everyone’s attention this year, it’s not outside the realm of possibilities that they would invite cast members to join. To push the envelope further, they may even ask Fiona Harvey, the inspiration for the character “Martha.”

Baby Reindeer creator Richard Gadd claims he did his best to keep Harvey’s identity a secret. However, she sat down with Piers Morgan to tell her side of the story and insisted Gadd got everything wrong. Now, she’s suing Netflix for the damage the series did to her reputation.

If they can’t get Fiona Harvey, DWTS execs still have options. The Daily Mail seems to think that Richard Gadd and Jessica Gunning, the actress who played Martha, are top contenders for Season 33.

“[Baby Reindeer] is also on track to become the most streamed show on Netflix of all time – so understandably, DWTS bosses are eager to jump on the tailcoats of its success by signing one of its cast members,” the publication writes.

Other Controversial Figures Are Probably In The Running

Having Fiona Harvey on Dancing With The Stars would be one thing. But inviting convicted murderer Gypsy Rose Blanchard would certainly be another. Gypsy Rose, who is now 32 years old, killed her mother in 2015 after years of abuse via Munchausen syndrome by proxy.

True crime fans have known about the case for years. However, Gypsy Rose gained nationwide attention after being released from prison in December 2023.

Although many sympathize with her, they don’t think Dancing With The Stars is the place for her. Many would prefer to see Gypsy Rose focus on healing and stay out of the limelight for now.
