Ellen Degeneres knows how to put Kourtney Kardashian in an awkward situation.

Kourtney Kardashian was in the buzz regarding her son Reign Aston as photographs and videos of him acutely resembled pop singer Justin Bieber. After Aston’s appearance debuted on social platforms, it went viral and created a huge gossip.

As per a celebrity theory, many fans believe that Aston is the child of Bieber and Kardashian as they have been close while the kid was conceived. The gossip touched the horizon as Aston looks so similar to younger Bieber. So, Ellen Degeneres had to bring it up on her show.

Appearing on The Ellen Show, Kourtney Kardashian was explaining how she spends time with her kids. Kardashian, mother to six children revealed that she never leaves out an opportunity to be with them. She worked only when they would go to bed. Ellen Degeneres with her ever-fluent humor brought up the popular gossip regarding Justin Bieber. “Does Justin Bieber help with the kids at all?” the host bluntly asked Kardashian. “That’s the rumor. I know y’all are just friends, right, or are you really dating him?” Degeneres asked again.

With subtle shyness on her face— close to blushing— Kardashian replied with rather a softer tone. “Um, no, only– Yes, we’re friends. – You’re friends?” Degeneres would ask her again hoping Kardashian would change her answer, “You’re friends?” Again, with the same facial expression, she nodded.

The host further intimidated the 44-year-old, “But why are you smiling that way?” Amid the laughter in the audience, Kardashian attempted for a second to hide her face with her hands, then repeated, again pointing out just the friendship.

Degeneres was not done putting her in the uncomfortable spot. The host later asked Kardashian’s smile when she heard the name of Bieber regarding her rumored relationship with the singer. Acting as an interrogator or a psychologist, Degeneres attempted to catch the subtle behavior of Kardashian. “You’re smiling as if that maybe it’s beyond friends,” Degeneres said.

With a similar attitude, Kardashian said, “I’ve been smiling this whole time since I’ve been sitting here.” However, there was a subtle change in her smile, at least the host of the show could catch the essence behind it. “No, no, not like that. That was a whole different thing. It just changed from smiling to, like, a whole…” the host said.Perhaps, it was agonizing for Kardashian but she wanted to remain calm about it as she reached out for the water saying “Okay.” “Look, now you’re drinking water,” Degeneres said further. Although there has not been any confirmation from Bieber of Kardashian, the rumor has been explored and remained one of the most discussed celebrity gossip of all time.
