Travis Kelce may be dating the biggest pop star in the world, but that didn’t stop Julia Roberts from getting handsy with the NFL star, or that’s at least what some fans think after footage surfaced showing the pair getting close while watching one of Taylor Swift’s shows.

Julia was spotted getting quite friendly with Travis during Swift’s concert in Dublin on Sunday night. But their intimate interaction didn’t sit well with some of Taylor’s ardent fans.

Fans Slammed Julia For Getting Close To Travis

The Oscar-winning actress attended the Dublin stop of the Eras tour, joining other VIP guests like singer Stevie Nicks at the Aviva Stadium. However, she sparked controversy among fans when she was seen warmly greeting the football star.

The pair were observed chatting closely, with Julia rubbing the Kansas City Chiefs star’s chest and laughing, which led to a social media frenzy among Swifties.

One fan commented, “Julia Roberts loves the Big Yeti, Travis Kelce… If that was anyone other than Pretty Woman herself, playing around with Trav I would be legit mad.” Another user echoed this sentiment, adding, “This feels very mom coded.”

Some users began speculating about the nature of the interaction, with one fan, claiming to be a lip-reading expert, suggesting that Julia had told Travis, “I’m so happy for you guys,” hinting at a possible engagement. Meanwhile, others described the exchange as “cringey.”

Taylor Is Allegedly Jealous Of Travis’ Attention

While Taylor hasn’t commented on the viral moment between Travis and Julia, reports have said the pop star is jealous, even setting rules that the athlete isn’t allowed to take photos with other women, for fear of the rumors it may spark.

“Pals are saying now that Taylor and Travis are more than six months into their relationship, she feels comfortable setting certain rules for him to follow,” a source told Life & Style. “Fortunately, Travis is on board — with most of them, anyway.”

“Travis is fine with Taylor giving him her thoughts and opinions on how to navigate such a public relationship. He really does appreciate it,” they continued. “He’s not so happy with some of the restrictions she wants in place, though.”

For now, it appears the NFL star will continue to travel the world to join Taylor on as much of her Eras stops as possible.
