Hailey Bieber opens up about how the constant trolling by Selena Gomez’s fans still upsets her.
Back in the 2010s, Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez were everbody’s favorite ship. Jelena, as they were called by their fans, was loved around the world. But it was not meant to be, as the 30-year-old would go on to marry Hailey Bieber. And thus began the tale of the latter’s conflict with Gomez and the rumors about her marriage, something that the daughter of Alec Baldwin has found extremely tough to come to terms with. And years after her marriage with Justin Bieber, she is sorry to admit that all the talk did take its toll on her.

Sadly for Jelena fans, it was not meant to be. Not long after breaking up with The Wizards of Waverly Place star, the Baby singer began seeing his ex Hailey Bieber (then Hailey Baldwin) again. And viola! We all know what happened thereafter.
Selena fans have been at Hailey Bieber’s throat ever since her marriage
Fast forward 6 years. Hailey and Justin have a child on the way. Selena Gomez has a sleuth of projects on the line, including her fourth studio album (and possibly a tour) along with numerous acting commitments. Jelena is nothing more than a thing of the past. That is for everyone except their fans.
Selena fans have found it difficult to move on from the memories of Jelena. And in their nostalgia, they have spared no attempt to harass Hailey Bieber. The 27-year-old has been at the receiving end of some horrid trolling, ranging from accusations that she and the Sorry singer are not happy, to death threats for her alleged feud with the Calm Down singer.
And it hasn’t been easy for the American model.

“I used to try to act like it hurts less and less. I’ve tried to think that you get used to it at a certain point, that this is what’s going to be said and this is how people are going to be. But I realize that it doesn’t actually ever hurt any less.”
While her love for the One Time singer, and the advice her therapist gave her, have kept her going until this point, she would really appreciate that people around the world understood that they are fine. And even if they weren’t, it is no one else’s business.
