Hailey Bieber is sharing new photos from her wedding day in an emotional tribute to her late friend and attendee, designer Virgil Abloh.

On Monday, Sept. 30, Hailey, 27, posted a photo of herself and Abloh together in her wedding dress, in a tribute to the late designer on his 44th birthday, along with more wedding photos marking her and Justin Bieber’s fifth anniversary.

In the photo shared on her Instagram Stories, Hailey walked arm-in-arm with Abloh in the lace wedding gown he created for her with Off-White, which included a sweeping veil worn over her face.

“Happy Birthday V, we miss you! Thank you for making me the most magical wedding dress. 🤍🪽,” the model and new mom wrote over the image.

Hailey’s tribute to Abloh comes three years after his death from cancer on Nov. 28, 2021. The pair remained great friends until his passing. As well as designing her wedding dress, Abloh also attended her wedding to Justin in South Carolina on Sept. 30, 2019.

This came one year after Hailey and Justin secretly married in a New York City courthouse on Sept.13, 2018.

Hailey posted a second photo from her South Carolina wedding day of herself and husband Justin, 30, kissing in their bride and groom looks while standing on a lawn outdoors at night with the caption “5 ✨,” referring to their special anniversary.

The long train of Hailey’s wedding dress was laid out behind her as her back faced the camera, with the embroidered words “‘Till Death do us Part” displayed across it.

The Rhode founder appeared in a final photo as she posed to the side in her off-the-shoulder wedding dress without the veil, adding “🥲🤍” over the image.

Speaking about her wedding to Vogue in 2019, Hailey said that she knew “from day one” that she wanted Abloh to design her wedding dress.

She explained, “I didn’t want somebody who was a wedding dress designer. I just feel like my style and my street style is such a part of who I am. Virgil has kind of always just been in my corner since the beginning.”

Abloh, who had never created a bridal gown before at the time, told Vogue of the experience, “The gratifying side about designing for Hailey, in this case, is I know her personality. For her, I wanted something fun and youthful just the same, but still traditional.”
