A little-known fact about Blue Bloods star Jennifer Esposito is that she was once married to Bradley Cooper. Their marriage was famously brief, and as Esposito later revealed in her book, there was good reason for the quick split.

She didn’t hold back when describing the relationship as rocky and full of drama. Though the union was short, Esposito’s candid reflections made sure it didn’t stay forgotten.
Jennifer Esposito Was Married to Bradley Cooper?!
One of Hollywood’s lesser-known relationships was between Jennifer Esposito and Bradley Cooper, but it certainly wasn’t short on drama. Though details on how they met are unclear, their connection was instant, so much so that they got married just a month after getting engaged.
However, only four months after tying the knot, People confirmed the split, citing irreconcilable differences. Esposito filed for divorce in May 2007, and TMZ revealed they’d been separated since April 5th of that year. But why? What exactly happened?
The answer to their brief and turbulent marriage came in her 2014 memoir, where she didn’t hold back in slamming her ex-husband. Reflecting on their relationship, she was a bit too candid about the ups and downs, offering unfiltered insights into what went wrong, she wrote (via US Weekly),
I should have noticed the red flags from the beginning — actually, they were more like an entire marching band squad of red flags — but I ignored them.

She didn’t stop there when it came to describing Cooper’s behavior during their relationship, she wrote some pretty damning things,
He was funny, smart, cocky, arrogant, and a master manipulator … he also had a mean, cold side. Within days, my relationship hit an all-time low, and within a week, it was over. Abruptly, rudely, and with the exact callousness that I’d come to expect from him, but this time, I did nothing but agree to end it.
One thing was pretty clear, they were much better off apart. Esposito found her happily ever after with Jesper Vesterstrøm, marrying him in September 2020. Meanwhile, Cooper’s love life has been a revolving door of relationships, and he still hasn’t quite settled down just yet.
Why Jennifer Esposito Left Blue Bloods, The Drama Explained!
Esposito’s departure from Blue Bloods was a whole other drama. Jennifer Esposito said goodbye to the show in 2012 after three seasons, but her exit was far from smooth.
After her diagnosis with celiac disease, her doctor recommended a lighter work schedule to manage her condition. However, CBS allegedly couldn’t accommodate this, and Esposito collapsed on set twice. Instead of adjusting her schedule, the studio put her on unpaid leave and blocked her from working elsewhere.
After a week of recovery, Esposito claimed the studio didn’t take her illness seriously and it was rumored that the studio even suggested she was faking it for a pay raise, leading to her eventual exit from the show.

On Fox News she shared,
This, though, is something that is not about me. This is about a disease that people don’t understand. What happened was ugliness. It makes me sick.
Thus, to raise awareness, she decided to spill the tea in a tell-all book, opening up not only about her battle with celiac disease but also about her life, where she famously threw some shade at her ex, Bradley Cooper.
