We have seen several celebrity breakups so far in 2024 – from Sacha Baron Cohen and Isla Fisher to Island UK’s Tyrique Hyde and Ella Barker.

With this, language learning experts at Preply teamed up with dating coach, psychologist, and body language expert, Adam Lyons to discover which partnership could be the next one on the chopping block.

Experts examined the strength of the relationships through their body language and intended to predict if any were just ‘showmances’.

They claimed that Kylie Jenner’s body language could indicate controlling behaviour, while Justin and Hailey Bieber‘s mannerisms allegedly implied a deadline for her marriage to Justin Bieber.

Here FEMAIL looked at the celebrity couples that could be heading for a breakup, according to a body language expert…

Kylie Jenner and Timothée Chalamet

He said: ‘They’re smiling together and they’re visibly attracted to each other. You can see them kissing in images and he puts his arm around her.’

But despite their spark, the expert identified something that may challenge the pair’s emotional compatibility.

‘What I’m reading here is she’s probably the more dominant one in the relationship,’ he explained.

‘The big sign is her hands and the way she holds his face in the images of them together at the U.S. Open men’s finals, almost to say “Look at me, I want your attention”.’

While there is no harm in one person taking the lead, Adam suggested Kylie’s body language could show ‘concerning behaviour’.

He added: ‘She leans into him and closes her eyes. Those same images are signs that could indicate that she is quite controlling in this relationship.’

Referring to recent paparazzi images of the couple, he said: ‘He’s looking at her all the time, but she’s not looking into him as much.

‘This to me looks like a situation where he’s still madly in love with her and she may not be feeling it as much.’

Even though the pair are often snapped with their arms around each other, Adam feels that their body language shows it is Justin providing comfort, without getting the same in return.

‘Justin is constantly looking for Hailey and making sure that she’s OK,’ the expert added. ‘He’s looking at her all the time, but she’s not looking into him as much.’

With divorce rumours circulating, Adam used his expertise as a dating coach to predict how much longer the Biebers are likely to stay together.

‘I give most marriages seven years before they start looking rocky,’ he suggested. ‘These guys have been married for over five years, so, they might last the next two years.’

‘What’s interesting is where they’ve been pictured kissing each other, they are holding each other’s heads as they move in,’ he explained.

‘That’s not a standard way that people who love each other kiss.

‘That’s a unique kiss, a kiss to show off or because you know you’re being watched.’

Referring to paparazzi pictures of Kanye and Bianca, Adam said: ‘He’s not putting his arm around her shoulders which is a key sign that they are in love with each other.’

He also notes that the couple are rarely seen kissing, or holding hands when out in public together – two key signs that he would look for in the body language of a strong couple.

In an image of the pair on vacation in Tuscany in August 2023, Adam shared his concerns over Kanye’s intentions, saying: ‘He’s got his hand around her waist, but it looks like more of a possessive holding as opposed to a loving holding.’

From their body language, he concluded: ‘This looks like a convenience relationship; she’s getting something out of it, he’s getting something out of it. But this does not look like chemistry.’
