George Clooney heard about Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s divorce through a reporter!

Brad Pitt and George Clooney were longtime friends ever since they both worked together in the 2001 film Ocean’s Eleven. Being close friends, it was an unnatural moment when Clooney got to know from a reporter that Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie were getting a divorce!

Although as harrowing as this sounds, Amal Clooney (the wife of George Clooney) wasn’t on good terms with Angelina Jolie while she and Pitt were married. In a report, it was revealed that Pitt would allegedly sit silently while Jolie would speak ill of Amal Clooney while the four of them used to spend time together!

Brad Pitt And Angelina Jolie Really Hurt George Clooney!

Starting off with the marriage of George and Amal Clooney, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie weren’t able to attend the wedding in 2014 because they were busy filming By the Sea in Malta during that time but it was a reasonable answer.

However, things became a bit more difficult when the four of us started hanging out together. As per a recent report by Life & Style Magazine, Clooney was “really” hurt by some of the actions of Jolie and the Fight Club actor.

As per an insider, Jolie would often speak ill of Amal Clooney while the four of them were hanging out together. Being a gentleman, Clooney waited for Pitt to interfere and take some action. However, Brad Pitt allegedly never stopped Jolie!

Taking some time off from their friendship, it took a while for Brad Pitt and George Clooney to be normal again. In another harrowing case, Pitt didn’t even tell Clooney that he was getting a divorce from Angelina Jolie!

The Ocean’s Eleven actor found out about the divorce from a reporter back in 2016 at a public event and Clooney was indeed shocked.

During a United Nations General Assembly in September 2016, the Batman & Robin actor attended the event alongside his wife Amal Clooney. When a CNN senior reporter (who is unnamed) asked Clooney about his thoughts on Brad Pitt’s divorce, Clooney was shocked.

As per a report by The Things, the only response that Clooney could answer was that he didn’t know about the divorce and he offered the family his condolences!

I didn’t know that – wow. I feel very sorry for them. That’s a sad story and unfortunate for a family. It’s an unfortunate story about a family. I feel very sorry to hear that.

The actor eventually put aside their differences and became friends once again. On the professional side of things, George Clooney and Brad Pitt are even sharing the screen together in an upcoming project titled Wolfs.

With Jon Watts as the director, Wolfs follows the story of two lone wolves who are assigned to do the same job. With the filming completed, the 2024 film is set for a release date of 20 September 2024 in theaters across the U.S.
