As the sunset over the concrete, the pickleball, skateboarding, and basketball wrapped up, and the party began. Performances from Christine Marie, Peter $un, Lakeyah, and LaRussell warmed up the audience before headlining rap artist Rich The Kid took the stage. Masked up and wearing all black, the 31-year-old rapper delivered fan-favorite tracks including “Plug Walk,” and “New Freezer.” The night closed with an energetic rendition of the chart-topping “CARNIVAL” collaboration where Rich The Kid joins Playboi Carti, Ty Dolla $ign, and Ye.

KICKitWorld Festival, which aims to redefine the essence of communal gatherings, is set to bring the party to Detroit next as part of a national tour.
