Jodie Foster cleared up her relationship status with Aaron Rodgers on Thursday while promoting her new movie The Mauritanian on Jimmy Kimmel Live.

The 58-year-old actress was asked about Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron, 37, dropping her name earlier this month during his NFL MVP award acceptance speech.

Aaron during his speech thanked his fiancee Shailene Woodley, 29, who co-stars with Jodie in the legal drama The Mauritanian. as well as his other supporters.

‘I also feel I’ve got a great group of people to support me. I’d like to thank my team, off the field. Ryan, Tommy, Leonard, Rebecca, Adam, Oliver, Emil, Debbie, Jodie Foster, Chaz, Popper…,’ Aaron said during his virtual appearance on NFL Honors on February 6.

‘Did you know that was happening?,’ Jimmy, 53, asked the two-time Oscar winner who wore a baby blue suit for her in-person visit on the ABC talk show.

‘You see, he said, ”My team”. Even though he said ”Off the field’, that makes me a Green Bay Packer,’ said Jodie who has been a longtime fan of the Packers.

‘People keep saying, ”No, that does not mean your part of the team”, but it does mean I’m part of the team,’ she playfully insisted.

‘He knows I’m his biggest fan,’ Jodie responded.

Jodie has been nominated for a Golden Globe Award for Best Supporting Actress in a Motion Picture for her work in The Mauritanian and Jimmy asked if she will mention Aaron in her acceptance speech if she wins.

‘Absolutely. I may have to name the whole team. Davante Adams has to be in there somewhere,’ Jodie said referencing the star wide receiver on the Packers.

The Mauritanian was released on February 12.

Jodie’s co-star Tahir Rahim, 39, also has been nominated for a Golden Globe for Best Actor in a Drama for his work in the film.

The Mauritanian is based on the 2015 memoir Guantánamo Diary by Mohamedou Ould Salahi, which is a a true story of the author’s experience of being held for 14 years without charge in the Guantanamo Bay detention camp.
