With a long career in Hollywood, Jodie Foster is still churning out projects. She took a look back down memory lane and reflected on one of her favorite moments from a past movie.
Jodie Foster, who has a long and successful career, made an appearance on The View and reflected back on some of her best moments.
The hosts gave Jodie a warm welcome and played a clip of her as a child from The Courtship of Eddie’s Father where she played Joey the Bully. In the film, she acted as the ultimate bully to Eddie, even kicking and physically hurting him. With the spunky personality of a cruel little girl, Jodie gave a rattling performance.
Against all the great moments from that show, Jodie’s favorite memory had nothing to do with the filming itself. She told the ladies: “I remember… the thing I remember the most. One day a man walked on the moon, so it was in the 60s, and we all stopped working for a moment, we went to the prop shed … and we all watched a man on the moon.”

This reminiscent moment received a few nods from the hosts and appreciation from the in-studio audience. Fans online also loved to hear her talk about the moment. One wrote: “Ohhh, I used to love Courtship of Eddie’s Father. Jodie was so adorable.”
As one of her earlier works, it doesn’t always get the attention that it deserves. Another fan raved about the film, writing: “I loved that so much at the time, that it was my all-time favourite movie, spanning decades The View. It’s wonderful to still love Jodie Foster a Half Century later.”

Plenty of fans continued to praise her as “a great actress,” citing some of her “pivotal roles” such as the original Freaky Friday. They emphasized just how great she looked. However, one fan thought that the hosts didn’t give her the best set-up for success on the show. They wrote: “The View Jodie Foster is really one of the greatest actors, ever. Grateful to her for sharing her skills with us. Too bad she’s getting a crappy interview from the ladies.”
