John Wick is back… but not in the way Keanu Reeves fans wanted, at least not for a few more times!

Although the prospect of a fifth entry in the original John Wick franchise may be on thin ice, fans will get a chance to see Keanu Reeves as the beloved assassin at least a few more times. The spin-off film Ballerina, featuring Reeves alongside assassin-in-training Ana de Armas, will be released sometime next summer, and in honor of this upcoming project, Funko has just revealed a brand-new John Wick Pop figurine.

This isn’t the first time Reeves’ John Wick has been immortalized in plastic — the blockbuster action hero has Funko pops dating back to his 2017 appearance in John Wick: Chapter 2. This latest figure, however, has a couple of stylistic additions distinguishing it from the rest of the fleet. Mini John Wick looks like he’s just been plucked from the midst of a furious battle, with a bloodstained shirt, a scratched-up face, and two blades at the ready. No matter how battle-damaged he gets, though, Reeves is well-known for always finding a way to best his foes.

Although John Wick: Chapter 4 felt to many fans like a strong conclusion to the series, it looks like the franchise is nevertheless alive and well, with plenty of ways for Reeves to return — even if it’s just in Funko Pop form. For instance, the upcoming film Ballerina takes place between the third and fourth John Wick films, meaning that the famed assassin hasn’t come to the end of his road just yet. While Ballerina mostly centers on the tried-and-true revenge story of No Time To Die‘s Ana de Armas — who is out for blood from the people who killed her family — Wick will still appear as a side character in the spin-off, along with Ian McShane and the late Lance Reddick.

No one is quite sure if a fifth John Wick movie will make it to fruition — least of all Keanu Reeves himself. The acclaimed actor has expressed his willingness to return to the role, but stated that he wasn’t sure if his body would be able to withstand the harsh physical demands of playing the world’s most feared assassin. After all, Reeves is now 60 years old, and he’s been playing action heroes since the 90s — the intensity of that kind of training is sure to take a toll.

However, the imminent release of Ballerina, as well as Reeves’ continued dominance in the Funko Pop world, are all positive indicators of the star’s longevity. Even if Reeves is playing a side character instead of the main protagonist, it’s clear that he’ll continue to be a beloved figure, and his impact on the action world isn’t going to disappear anytime soon.

In the meantime, all four of the John Wick films are streaming on Hulu, offering a chance for fans to refresh their memories before Ballerina hits theaters on June 7th. And, of course, you can also pre-order the newest John Wick Funko Pop for just $11.99, with the figure’s official release date set for sometime in March.
