The actor faced very serious allegations of violence from his ex-wife, actress Amber Heard, but after the dramatic trial from 2022, he has been getting work again and making big changes in his life.

In his latest public appearance at a movie premiere, people were shocked to see how much his appearance had changed. He certainly seemed healthier than he had in a long time, and according to an insider, in addition to focusing on work, he’s made significant changes in his lifestyle.

Johnny Depp’s Drastic Transformation This Past Year

Johnny Depp seems to have made some very significant changes in his life recently. The 60-year-old actor stunned people when he arrived at the intimate UK premiere of the new movie Jeanne Du Barry, looking almost unrecognizable compared to just a year ago.

Back then, he was sporting long, messy hair, and it didn’t seem he paid much attention to his clothes. While he would, of course, take care of his appearance a lot more when attending a premiere than he would in his everyday life, it was clear that the change was a lot deeper than just a change of hairstyle.

He has clearly lost weight, and his hair, now much shorter, is looking a lot shinier and like it’s been properly taken care of. Johnny Depp has been spending some time living in Europe while editing his new movie about the artist Modigliani, and the change of setting apparently did him good.

“He’s been living in the UK while editing Modi, and has been living a cleaner lifestyle than at times in the past,” a source said about it.

Johnny Depp has clearly been taking better care of himself since he made his comeback after the controversial case against his ex-wife, Amber Heard, who had accused him of domestic violence back in 2016. He then sued her for defamation, and the verdict of the 2022 trial was his ticket back to showbusiness.

Johnny Depp Recently Faced New Violence Accusations

While Johnny Depp seems to be gradually restoring his public image as he makes his comeback, his reputation as a violent man in Hollywood still exists, and the recent allegations against him have reminded people of that.

Actress Lola Glaudini accused him of verbally attacking her for “laughing” on set while they worked together on the movie Blow, adding that she was following a director cue when she laughed, so the alleged reaction from the actor was completely out of order.

“[Johnny Depp] says his monologue. I hear the cue, and I go haha, I do a big laugh or whatever,” Lola Glaudini explained. “Johnny Depp, when they say cut, walks over to me, comes up to me, sticks his finger in my face and he goes, ‘Who the f**k do you think you are? Who the f**k do you think you are? Shut the f**k up. I’m out here, and I’m trying to f***ing say my lines and you’re f***ing pulling focus. You f***ing idiot. Oh, now, oh now it’s not so funny? Now you can shut up? Now you can f***ing shut the f**k up? The quiet that you are right now, that’s how you f***ing stay’.”

Johnny Depp’s team quickly denied the allegations, saying that “Johnny always prioritizes good working relationships with cast and crew and this recounting differs greatly from the recollection of other members on set at the time.”
