Justin Bieber has said that while he loves his tattoos, he will never get one on his hands. Speaking to SiriusXM’s radio show, The Morning Mash Up, the singer said it was a promise he made to himself:
“I promised myself that I didn’t want to get tattoos on my hands. To be able to wear a suit and not have tattoos on my hands… that’s really one of the places on my body that I’m not going to get tattoos,” he assures, commenting that he still has many places on his body where he can get his inspirational designs.
Justin has previously admitted that he doesn’t regret any of his tattoos.
“I think if tattoos didn’t hurt so much, everyone would get them. Well, maybe not everyone! I love this art, I’ve made my body a canvas for my tattoos and it’s a lot of fun.”
While Bieber claims he doesn’t regret any of his tattoos, the one he got long ago in honor of his ex-girlfriend Selena Gomez he tried to cover up with some shading after they split.
He recently showed off the ink in an interview, saying: “That’s my ex-girlfriend, I tried to cover her face with shading, but people still know it’s her.”
Still, he doesn’t regret any drawing he’s ever done.
The singer is currently promoting his new album Justice.
Creating boundaries
Justin Bieber has revealed that he no longer owns a mobile phone and that it has helped him ‘create boundaries’ in his life. The 27-year-old singer only communicates with those around him via an iPad, and insisted that he ‘doesn’t owe anyone an explanation’ for the decision.
According to OK! magazine, Justin hasn’t updated his social media for a long time, and he has a team to take care of it for him.
“He saw a long time ago that it was best to stay away [from social media], for his own good and for his mental health,” said the informant.
And Justin commented that not having a cell phone has helped him ‘create boundaries’ and ‘be firm’ about the contacts he keeps.
He revealed: “I’ve definitely learned to have boundaries, and just not feel like I owe anyone an explanation. It’s helped me be able to just say no and be firm, and know that my heart wants to help people, but I can’t do everything. Sometimes I want to, but I just can’t.”
