Justin Bieber dropped in to see Ellen for her birthday – then apologized for the way he came across because he was nervous.
It’s been a while since Justin Bieber has done a TV appearance so it’s no wonder he was nervous when he popped by to see Ellen DeGeneres last night.
Justin appeared on Ellen to celebrate her birthday – a fitting comeback seeing as Ellen’s show was the first major TV show Justin appeared on as a fresh-faced 15 year old.
Justin admitted on the show, “Honestly I haven’t been on TV in a while so I’m a little nervous.”
Ellen admitted that she had been invited to Justin’s Comedy Central Roast but she had turned it down, to which Justin replied, “I think it’s just cool to be able to laugh at yourself.”
“I’ve done some things that might not of been the greatest…I just want to be able to…kind of just kind own up to some of the things.”
He explained, “I think I was nervous because I was afraid of what people are thinking about me right now. It’s been a minute since I’ve been in a public appearance, and I didn’t want to come off arrogant or conceited or basically how I’ve been acting the past year, year and a half.”
“I’m not what I was pretending to be. Why I say ‘pretending’ is often we pretend to be something we’re not as a cover up of what we’re truly feeling inside.”
“And there was a lot of feelings going on in there. Just being young and growing up in this business is hard. Just growing up in general is hard.”
We still love you Justin!
