The singer’s likeness now sports a infant carrier, following news that he and wife Hailey are expecting.

A day after Justin Bieber and wife Hailey revealed that they’re expecting a baby, Madame Tussauds London has made an adjustment to the pop star’s wax figure.

The tribute to Bieber is now sporting a baby carrier “to help him get some all-important practice in ahead of the big arrival,” a rep for the tourist attraction said in a news release, with a nod to a certain one of Bieber’s early songs: “Baby, Baby, Baby, Oh!”

Madame Tussauds is known for making changes to its signature wax figures to reflect the headlines, say if there’s a major breakup. Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s likenesses were separated in September 2016 following news of their split. Pitt had previously been moved away from ex-wife Jennifer Aniston, after they announced the end of their marriage.

In January 2020, attraction officials moved Prince Harry and Meghan Markle out of the section that featured other members of the royal family, after the pair announced that they planned to “step back” from their official duties.

The Biebers made their big announcement Thursday, in matching social media posts, that they would soon be a family of three. A video clip showed the pair doing what looks like renewing their marriage vows, before the camera lingers on her belly. Recognizable names, including Madison Beer, Ayesha Curry, and designer Donatella Versace congratulated them in the comments.

The two met at a Today show event way back in 2009, but they didn’t begin dating until at least 2015, when she was just 12. He’s almost three years older.

They later reconnected at Hillsong Church.

“One day Justin walked into Hillsong and was like, ‘Hey, you got older.’ I was like, ‘Yeah, what’s up?'” Hailey told Vogue in February 2019. “Over time he became my best guy friend. I was running around with him as his homie, but we weren’t hanging out [romantically].”
They eventually ended up dating and not dating and then dating again. They married in a civil ceremony in September 2018, but they walked down the aisle in a fancy ceremony in South Carolina the next year.

Four-and-a-half years later, they’re preparing for a new family member,

It might not be the last either, at least according to what Bieber said on The Ellen Show in December 2020.

“I’m going to have as many as Hailey is willing to push out,” the singer said then. “I’d love to have myself a little tribe.”

Still, he acknowledged, “It’s her body and whatever she wants to do.”
