Justin Bieber’s meteoric rise to fame at 15 wasn’t easy on him. The young teen signed with RBMG Records in 2008 and released his debut album in 2009. Bieber has managed to stay out of trouble over a decade later, primarily making headlines for his wonderful relationship with his wife and the birth of his baby boy. However, Sean “Diddy” Combs’ arrest and a potential lawsuit over Bieber’s fortune might have the pop star on edge. Here’s what an insider said about Bieber’s inner circle feeling concerned.
Justin Bieber’s inner circle is allegedly ‘concerned’ the pop star is ‘more troubled than ever’
Justin Bieber’s name has circulated through media outlets through 2024 for various reasons. His son, Jack, was born in August 2024. Unfortunately, a month later, federal agents arrested Sean “Diddy” Combs. Bieber and Combs have a past, as videos show Combs spending days with Bieber during Bieber’s youth. Various sources suggested that Bieber worried he’d get dragged into Combs’ case, as Combs is facing charges of racketeering, sex trafficking, and transportation to engage in prostitution.
A source told In Touch Weekly in November 2024 that Bieber “hardly ever gets out,” which worries those close to him. “Everyone thought his lack of socializing was because he was embracing being a dad, but now, those close to him are concerned it’s a deeper issue,” the insider continued. “He seems to be more troubled than ever.”
In addition to Combs’ lawsuits, Bieber is allegedly considering suing his formal financial managers. According to TMZ, Bieber is upset with the decisions his financial managers have made with his money through the years. The insider told In Touch Weekly that the current events surrounding Bieber “are really bothering him lately. He seems to be regressing. When he experiences low lows, Justin disappears sometimes. Some in his immediate circle are worried.”
Justin Bieber was reportedly hit with a $380,000 bill in October 2024
Justin Bieber has a hefty net worth. However, he likely didn’t anticipate owing nearly $400,000 in unpaid property taxes.
In January 2023, Bieber bought a $16.6 million property in Coachella Valley. According to The Sun, the taxes on the property are overdue. Bieber owes $380,349 in total. Half of the payment was due by Oct. 12, 2024, and the other half was due by April 10, 2025. It’s unclear if Bieber paid the first half.
Bob Bradley, the senior publicist at Bradley Public Relations and Marketing, told The U.S. Sun that Bieber needs a business manager to help him sort out his finances at this point.
“Pop stars all have business managers; Justin Bieber hasn’t likely paid a mortgage bill, let alone likely ever his cell phone bill,” Bradley said. “That’s all delegated and assigned to a business management firm that handles his day-to-day finances, book-keeping and collaborating with CPAs [music industry accountants] to prepare his yearly taxes and most financial decisions, investments, etcetera.”
The pop star doesn’t want to ‘relive’ his ‘complicated relationship’ with Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs
Justin Bieber’s name was brought up after Sean “Diddy” Combs’ arrest. Bieber hasn’t publicly discussed Combs’ arrest or his previous friendship with the hip-hop mogul. A source told In Touch Weekly that the pop star has no interest in discussing Combs.
“The last thing Justin wants to do is relive or even discuss his complicated friendship with Diddy,” the insider explained. “But he’s finally breaking his silence to his friends about his nightmare experience and the private hell it’s caused him.”
The source added that Bieber has found it “hard” to have his past “dredged up” with Combs’ case. He relies on his “massively supportive” wife, Hailey, for support.
