Kate Winslet remains silent on the creepy allegations that have surfaced about Leonardo DiCaprio in recent weeks, which some fans may perceive as a silent way of supporting her long-time friend despite the unnerving rumors.

Last month, a model revealed that she once had an uncomfortable encounter with Leonardo, who’s known for his preference of dating women in their early 20s, even though he’s approaching 50.

Leonardo Has Faced A Variety Of Allegations Recently

Hieke Koning, 22, opened up to the Dutch editions of Playboy to share her less-than-pleasant experience with the Inception star luminary, unveiling several of his alleged bedroom habits.

“It was in a secret club in LA, one where you only get in by invitation. I saw him sitting there in his black hoodie and black cap and we made eye contact,” she recalled.

Hieke says she was then approached by Leonardo’s manager, who conveyed the actor’s desire to meet her, a proposition to which she agreed. Escorting her to Leonardo’s spot, Hieke found herself face to face with the actor.

The model says Leonardo ended up kissing her, which she described as: “It was okay, but definitely not the best I’ve had.”

Subsequently, as per Hieke’s account, Leonardo suggested they move to a more private setting to continue the evening, to which the model declined this proposition, noting Leonardo’s apparent surprise at her decision.

“He reacted very shocked. Of course he wasn’t used to it. When I said I didn’t know him well enough, he responded sweetly. I respect that,” Hieke alleged. “Whereupon he turned to another girl and took her home.

Hieke then shared some rumors about Leo she’d heard from models who had allegedly hooked-up with him. “One friend said he kept his earphones in during sex because he didn’t want to hear her,” she said. “And another said he even put a pillow on her head. No, Leo is too weird and too old.”

Within days of Hieke’s interviews, Crystal Hefner, the widow of Hugh Hefner, made a series of comments about Leonardo, including saying he was just like her late husband – and not in a good way.

Leonardo is known to bump shoulders with many big names in the industry, but there have been few responses to the latest allegations against him, including from Winslet. Not known for being big on social media, the actress is seemingly lying low while celebrating the launch of her new series The Regime.

The former Titanic co-stars have been close since starring in the James Cameron movie, which helped solidify their careers nearly three decades ago. While Leo and Kate have long been the subject of romantic rumors, they’ve denied ever being involved. But that hasn’t stopped them from describing how close their friendship is, even collaborating again together in 2008’s Revolutionary Road, which was directed by Kate’s then-husband Sam Mendes.

They say silence speaks volumes, and Kate’s refusal to comment on the latest rumors about Leo (as well as his reputation for preferring much-younger women) may be a sign the two remain as close as ever. Or, conversely, she may not want to be associated with Leo and the things being said about him, considering she’s a mom to a daughter in her 20s.
