KATY Perry has fans thinking she sent her critics a message on social media after their brutal comments about her new music video.

The pop star released her comeback song Woman’s World on June 17, following a years-long hiatus from music to focus on her gig as a judge on American Idol.

However, fans weren’t very supportive of her new track after she dropped its interesting music video.

Fans now suspect that Katy’s recent Instagram post contained a subtle dig at her haters for their harsh words.

On Sunday, Katy, 39, shared photos and videos of her life lately, vacationing with her fiancé Orlando Bloom, 47, and their 3-year-old daughter, Daisy Dove.

One pic captured the singer pouting her lips in the bathroom mirror while donning a skimpy black and white checkered bikini.

“WOMAN’S WORLD: sister/mother/partner/funtie/kvnty/almost 40 and FABULOUS edition,” the mom-of-one captioned her post with a red lips emoji.

MIXED REACTIONS

However, it was the star’s location that caught fans’ eyes, as it pinned her at “Planet Unbothered.”

Katy’s followers immediately pointed out her sly tag, with one commenting, “Planet unbothered – Tell them!”

Another wrote, “She’s LIVING,” while a third added, “Unbothered queen.”

“I love how you don’t respond to hate comments, Katy,” one follower shared.

Meanwhile, others took the opportunity to slam the multi-Grammy award nominee, as one raged, “‘Unbothered?’ Proves you have no understanding of what people are upset about.”

“Planet Unbothered, where hypocrisy reigns,” a second said.

Someone else wrote, “Stop pretending like you don’t care, we all know you are desperate to be relevant again.”

Another chimed in, “I was standing up for you but that location is bothersome.”

The initial backlash stemmed from Katy’s appearance and actions in her Woman’s World music video, which the performer labeled a “satire.”

It showed Katy and a group of female backup dancers wearing ultra-sexy patriotic bikinis, a tool belt, and bright orange vests to mimic construction workers.

Katy was also seen holding a drill in the air and pouring whisky from the bottle into her mouth.

The entertainer explained the video in a post on social media, sparking a slew of heated responses from fans.

“Imagine having to explain your obvious vision to viewers,” one reacted.

“Satiric? She’s reaching for straws after the backlash,” said another.

‘JUST SAYING’

Katy has also been scrutinized for collaborating with disgraced producer Dr. Luke on her upcoming album, 143, to be released on September 20.

Dr. Luke is famously known as Kesha’s former producer, whom she filed a lawsuit against, alleging that he sexually assaulted and harassed her, among other claims.

Last June, after a nine-year-long battle, both parties revealed they had reached a settlement.

However, Dr. Luke’s alleged behavior hasn’t been swept under the rug as actress Abigail Breslin, 28, seemingly took a swipe at Katy online for working with him.

“I’m just saying… working with known abusers in any industry just contributes to the narrative that men can do abhorrent s**t and get away with it,” Abigail wrote on X before shouting out Kesha, 37, for a memorable performance she gave the year before.

Katy didn’t appear to comment on Abigail’s post.
