Keanu Reeves once spent several hours sitting and chatting with a homeless man just because the guy wanted to talk.

We all know that he’s one of Hollywood’s good guys and it genuinely does sound like he’s as down to earth as he comes across, and now his fans are remembering a moment from years ago where he showed it.

Already a big star thanks to movies like Speed and Bill and Ted’s Excellent Adventure, back in 1997 before his fame went stratospheric with The Matrix the actor was pictured sitting and chatting with a homeless man in Los Angeles.

It’s not something you’d see most people do, let alone one of the most famous actors on the planet, but the picture showed him sitting with the guy clear as day.

In the pictures Reeves was shown sitting with the man as he shared food and drink with him.

It’s just one of many wholesome things the star has done over his years of fame and fortune, as apparently throughout his career he’s also been funding children’s hospitals without making a massive fuss about it.

He has his own foundation which helps fund the hospitals and also puts money into cancer research, though his name isn’t attached to it.

There are plenty of accounts of the actor being a stand-up guy to pretty much everyone he meets, with movie crews that have worked with him saying he’s their top guy to work with as he treats everyone generously.

Reeves genuinely seems to be the down-to-earth cool guy everyone thinks he is.

He’s certainly earned his reputation as the ‘nicest person in Hollywood’ and there are plenty of examples of him being incredibly nice to his fans as well so it’s no wonder he gets called ‘a legend of the highest order’.

Really everything from the way Reeves treats people he works with to the way he takes pictures with fans is wholesome, he’s just so cool and friendly and we would like him to be our friend.

You would really have to scour the internet in a very determined manner to find someone that genuinely didn’t like him and if you’ve got to put in that sort of effort to dig up any kind of hypothetical dirt on someone as famous as Reeves then it’s probably not worth your time doing.

As if he wasn’t cool enough, he’s only gone and got his band back together too for a bit of a reunion.
