Leonardo DiCaprio and Italian model Vittoria Ceretti have been romantically linked since August 2023

Leonardo DiCaprio and Vittoria Ceretti are enjoying their time spent together.

A source tells PEOPLE that DiCaprio, 49, and Italian model Ceretti, 25, recently “had a date night with friends” at Santa Monica, California, hotspot Giorgio Baldi on Friday.

“The restaurant has been Leo’s favorite for years and he’s enjoyed date nights with Vittoria several times,” the source says. “She’s, of course, Italian, so she takes care of ordering all the favorites.”

“She is very cute, sweet and charming. Leo seems to really like her,” a source adds of DiCaprio and Ceretti’s recent dinner date.

“They sat next to each other and he had his arm around her. They dined for hours and all had a great time.”

DiCaprio and Ceretti have been linked romantically since August 2023 after they were first seen spending time together in Santa Barbara, California. In September, the pair were seen spending time with the Killers of the Flower Moon star’s mother Irmelin Indenbirken, in photos shared by Page Six at the time.

Ceretti was also present for DiCaprio’s 49th birthday party in Beverly Hills back in November. At that time, a source told PEOPLE they were “affectionate and kissing throughout the night,” at the party, which also featured guests like JAY-Z and Beyoncé, Snoop Dogg, Tobey Maguire, Taika Waititi, Axl Rose and Lil Wayne.

Prior to DiCaprio’s sightings with Ceretti, the actor was linked to model Gigi Hadid between Septemebr 2022 and February 2023.

Ceretti and Hadid, 28, are reportedly friends and have worked together in the past. A source close to Hadid told PEOPLE in February 2023 that her relationship with DiCaprio “kind of just fizzled” out months after they first began spending time together.

DiCaprio is currently filming an upcoming movie with director Paul Thomas Anderson that also stars Sean Penn and Regina Hall, set for release in 2025.
