There are certain milestone birthdays that people often mark: sweet 16, the legal drinking age of 21, and of course, fabulous 50! However, one rising pop star decided that her 25th birthday should be an important time to roast Leonardo DiCaprio’s dating life.

It seems that Gen Z is very attuned to DiCaprio’s rumored 25-year-old cutoff age for dating, and Sabrina Carpenter hilariously featured that on her birthday cake. The “Espresso” singer’s birthday was on May 11 and fans have Ice Spice to thank for capturing the birthday cake meme on her Instagram Story. The icing on top of the delicious dessert showcased a 2016 snapshot of DiCaprio with the caption, “Nooo don’t turn 25 your so sexy aha.” The Oscar winner’s reported age preference has been seen in his romances with Blake Lively, Gisele Bündchen, and Camilla Morrone — and there’s even an official graph charting his history.

Currently, the Revenant star is dating 25-year-old model Vittoria Ceretti, who has been the subject of engagement rumors after being spotted wearing a large ring on that finger. Leo and Vittoria are not engaged,” an Us Weekly insider shared. “She’s wearing a ring she’s had for years.” They’ve been dating since August 2023, and it’s serious enough that the couple is “exclusive”, and the 24-year age gap doesn’t bother her. “Vittoria is all he thinks about,” the source claimed while noting that Ceretti is “an old soul.”

In early 2023, when the 49-year-old star was linked to 19-year-old Eden Poland, there were reports that he was feeling rather sensitive about the topic. “He was venting,” an insider told In Touch. “He was so upset he can’t go out at all without people [thinking] he is dating someone.” Unfortunately, his dating reputation in Hollywood is often a hot topic, and only his on-and-off casual fling with Gigi Hadid seemed to break his usual habits — she was 27 at the time.

But Gen Z is pretty spicy, and they are humorously calling out DiCaprio because a two-decade (or more) age gap is pretty uncomfy. Carpenter doesn’t sound like she’s interested in him anyway, she’s head over heels with Irish actor Barry Keoghan, who is in her age range at 31.
