Director Exposes Leonardo DiCaprio’s Way Of Looking For A Potential Relationship

In a recently released memoir by filmmaker Edward Zwick, Hits, Flops, and Other Illusions: My Fortysomething Years in Hollywood, he shared an anecdote from the behind-the-scenes of the 2006 film Blood Diamond about Leonardo DiCaprio’s dating style.

“It seems Leo was currently between gorgeous girlfriends. One morning I walked into the makeup trailer as I often did to discuss the day’s work with him. I found him in the chair waiting for his turn and noticed he was paging through a Victoria’s Secret catalogue. ‘What are you doing?’ I asked. [Jennifer Connelly] was in the chair beside him. Without even looking over, she said, ‘Shopping.’ ”

Interestingly, the Titanic actor is not thrilled with the reputation he has earned on social media for only dating women under 25 years of age. A source close to DiCaprio told Daily Mail:

“He is not keen on the hype suggesting that he is seeking out these very young women. He is looking for something more mature in the relationship department. It is just ridiculous because he cannot go anywhere without being linked to the youngest beautiful woman there. He wants to ditch this image once and for all, and he is really bothered that this continues to follow him.”

It’s quite baffling how the actor wants to break free from this image when he never changes his dating preference. His current girlfriend, Vittoria Ceretti, is another supermodel aged 25. The couple, however, seems very serious about each other.

Page Six claimed that DiCaprio finally introduced Ceretti to his mother, and in November, they are reportedly exclusive. Their 24-year age gap and DiCaprio’s immense fame do not seem to bother the model.
