Liam Payne’s alleged drug dealer is speaking out once again!

The 31-year-old singer passed away on October 16 after falling from the balcony of his room at the CasaSur Palermo Hotel in Buenos Aires. It came out almost immediately he was completely wasted — so high police say he wasn’t conscious when he hit the ground and likely wasn’t fully aware what he was doing before that.

His state of intoxication has led to a broader investigation. Law enforcement have so far charged three people, including Liam’s friend and manager Rogelio Nores, alleged “drug supplier” Braian Nahuel Paiz, and a hotel worker, for abandonment of a person followed by death along with the supply and facilitation of narcotics. Rogelio and Braian denied the allegations against them.

But Braian spoke with Argentina’s Telefe Noticias earlier this month, detailing their final moments together. He said they “spent the night together” on October 13 — three days before Liam died — and “consumed drugs because the truth is that something intimate happened.” He added:

“He wasn’t aggressive at all, he behaved really well with me, he was really sweet. He asked me if I was okay. … I told Liam a best friend of mine wanted to meet him because he was a fan. He said ‘yes’ and after I went he appeared outside the place where I lived and managed to get halfway into the building and wanted us to go back to his hotel but I told him I couldn’t because I had to go to work. […] I was due to start at 11:30 a.m. but I had to arrive beforehand. That was the last time I saw him. He got into his taxi and left.”

Now, Braian is slamming the interview, proclaiming his innocence again, and making new, different bombshell claims! While speaking to social media user Misterio de Phoenix in Spanish, per a translation from content creator Sebastian Soto, the suspect claimed his conversation with Telefe Noticias was “edited and that they put in words that he never said.” Braian alleges now he was asked to say certain words that were used against him — though seemingly did not specify which ones.

Intimate Not Sexual?

Also, he does not understand why everyone now thinks something “sexual” happened between him and Liam following the first interview — when that was, he assures everyone, not the case.

Well, we mean, how else were people supposed to interpret his comments? The suspect supposedly told Telefe Noticias they shared an intimate moment, followed by how Liam “wasn’t aggressive at all, he behaved really well with me, he was really sweet.” It’s pretty clear why folks inferred he meant something “sexual” happened! He basically alluded to it! However, Braian insisted in the new interview that while something “intimate” occurred, “it was not sexual.” He did not elaborate on what he meant from there.

The Watch

Moving on… Braian touches on the watch. As we previously reported, the One Direction alum wore a Rolex on the day of his death but police have been unable to recover it. The interviewer mentioned that some people think Braian took it. However, he insisted he didn’t and even would show it on camera if he did and had it on him. Braian said Liam offered to give him pants and a shirt when they hung out on October 12, 13, and 14. However, the alleged drug dealer swore he refused to accept anything other than a drawing Liam made for him.

Hmm…

‘Fake’ Girlfriend??

Innerestingly, Liam’s girlfriend Kate Cassidy comes up at one point in the interview. Braian called her the Teardrop artist’s “alleged girlfriend.” Huh?? According to the suspect, during his hangout with Liam, he saw something on his computer regarding Kate “alleging the relationship was fake.”

Whoa!

What was on that computer suggesting the romance was not real? Braian did not say. But that’s a hell of an accusation to drop without evidence, that could really hurt this poor girl! Damn!

 Ultimately, Braian swore again that he was innocent and has all the proof to show he was not involved in Liam’s death. He believes he’s being falsely incriminated, denying he ever took drugs to Liam. In fact, he claimed Liam never even took heavy drugs with him, just drank and vaped! FYI, the toxicology report stated the performer had  “traces in his body of a poly-consumption of alcohol, cocaine, and a prescribed antidepressant” before his death and “during at least his last 72 hours.”
When asked if someone is trying to bring him down in order to cover up their own crimes, he agreed. Wow. Watch breakdown of the interview (below):
