According to Deadline, Kelli’s return as Rollins is in season 25, episode 11, titled “Prima Nocta.” Set to premiere next Thursday, April 18, her upcoming appearance comes just three months after she guest starred in the season 25 premiere.

The news also comes on the heels of the exciting announcement that the long-running crime drama was renewed for a 26th season, continuing the achievement for Mariska and costar Ice T of being the longest-running male and female actors in television history.

Episode 10, “Children of Wolves,” which airs tonight, Thursday, April 11 at 9 p.m. ET, is also particularly special. Mariska Hargitay is both starring and directing, her ninth time doing so since she first started directing in season 15.

And even though it’s been almost a year and a half since Kelli’s character, Detective Amanda Rollins, left SVU after 11 seasons, fans are still hoping she’ll return as a full-time character sometime in the future — especially after seeing Mariska Hargitay’s recent Instagram photo of the two of them.

The SVU star, wearing her character’s police badge and gun, posted a photo holding what looks like a script over her head next to Kelli.
