Some people are utterly convinced they’ve spotted what they believe is Meghan Markle’s ‘dead dog’ in one of her latest social media posts.
Now, fans of the royals will know that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex tragically lost their family dog recently.
Last month, Meghan took to Instagram to share a heartbreaking video compilation of their four-legged friend, Guy, revealing that he’d sadly died.
In a tear-jerking, lengthy caption, the former Suits star explained that she’d adopted the beagle from a dog rescue in Canada in 2015, immediately naming him ‘the little guy’ due to his frailty at the time.
“He was with me at Suits, when I got engaged, (and then married), when I became a mom… he was with me for everything: the quiet, the chaos, the calm, the comfort,” Meghan wrote.

Guy also featured in the trailer for her new series With Love, Meghan, prompting her to add in the caption: “I hope you’ll come to understand why I am so devastated by his loss. I think you may fall a little bit in love too.”
Several segments of the sweet video tribute see Archie walking Guy along with dad Harry, while others show Lilibet playing with him in the park.

And, in a recent video posted to her Story, Meghan could be seen cutting strawberries into hearts with her children.
At one point in the clip, a little beagle could be seen running along with Meghan prompting one person to take to social media to say: “This is my recorded video of Meghan Markle’s Instagram video, and if I’m not mistaken, that dog is supposed to be dead?”
“Loads of us noticed the dead dog,” commented another. “But people are saying she adopted another dog, so that’s probably it.”
A third penned: “Meghan Markle had two beagles 1 died. There’s no magical dead dog in the Valentine’s Day video.”
“Supposedly, that’s their second beagle,” added a final X user.
For those that aren’t in the know, Meghan and Harry actually had two beagles before Guy sadly died – so that pup you see in the recent IG Story is not in fact her ‘dead dog’ but their other beloved rescue beagle named Mamma Mia who was adopted in 2022.

Meghan Markle firmly tells Prince Harry ‘no’ after he puts her on the spot in front of crowd
Prince Harry’s request left his wife in shock
Prince Harry put his wife Meghan Markle on the spot in another charming moment between the couple.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are in Canada for the seventh Invictus Games.
During a welcome celebration for the international multi-sport event in Whistler, Canada, Prince Harry playfully urged his wife to perform in front of a crowd of 1,000 people.
Both Harry and Meghan had been enjoying beers together before the opening ceremony. Canadian singer Michael Bublé commenced the celebrations by performing part of the song ‘Feeling Good’ before introducing Harry to the crowd.

“I know how difficult something like this is, so I wanted to make sure I did this right. Without the incredible effort of this young man, none of this would have happened, so please welcome my friend, Prince Harry,” the crooner said.Harry replied with a joke of his own: “Well, thank God Michael Bublé sang. Can you imagine bringing him out here and him saying, ‘You know what? I didn’t come here to sing…’ Thank you for the introduction.”
After thanking the ‘incredible athletes’ for taking part, the Prince then turned his attention to his wife.
Harry called out: “My wife and I—come on out here! Come on! Now she’s going to sing!”
The former Suits star was clearly taken by surprise and burst into laughter, and immediately responded, “No!”

“Are you going to sing?” he asked, to which Meghan responded with laughter.
“No, I’m not singing!” she said before sharing a friendly hug with the singer.
Prince Harry reportedly gave a five-word request to wife Meghan Markle during the opening ceremony of the Invictus Games.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex were in Vancouver, Canada, to celebrate the start of the event.
The couple put on an affectionate display, portraying a very loved-up image to people watching at home and in the crowds. They were spotted sharing a kiss in the stands, delighting their fans all over the world.
A lip reader has now revealed the adorable comment Prince Harry supposedly said before their sweet moment. Speaking to The Sun, Nicola Hickling claimed: “For the first part of the clip, Harry says, ‘give us a kiss then’.
“Meghan gives him a kiss on the lips and says ‘all the best.’”
Another clip shows Prince Harry and Meghan enjoying a ride on a golf buggy.
The lip reader went on to claim: “Meghan says, ‘make them cheer’ and Harry shouts, ‘yeah come on come on.’”
So adorable!
Small business which had Meghan Markle’s brand name before her issues statement after her latest announcement divided opinion
People have just ‘become aware’ of a small business with the same name as Meghan Markle’s new brand
The owner of a small business has claimed they are ‘aware’ after Meghan Markle announced her new lifestyle brand with the same name.
The Duchess recently made a return to social media, announcing the launch of her new Netflix show and lifestyle brand, which are both set to launch on 4 March.
With Love, Meghan, will see her joined by a plethora of celebrity guests, as she shares her tips for cooking, hosting, and gardening.
And her brand, now called As Ever, will sell ‘fruit preserves’ and ‘non-medicated hair preparations’, as well as candles, stationery, and jewellery.
But the owner of a small business with the exact same name has now spoken out.

It turns out that As Ever is also a New York-based clothing company that has been in circulation since 2017.
In a statement, the brand said: “In the last 36 hours there has been an outpouring of support and concern regarding recent events around our namesake brand.
“We are aware. We are not affiliated.”
They added: “It’s 2025. We are grateful to still be here making clothing in New York & New Jersey.
“We are grateful for all the customers coast to coast and world wide that have supported our venture. We will continue As Ever.”
But this isn’t the first time that the name of Meghan’s brand was affiliated with another company.
The original name of her lifestyle brand was American Riviera Orchard, and was promoted in April 2024.
However, certain issues caused the founder to change the name to As Ever.

The previous name had been a reference to where she and Prince Harry live in California – but Meghan blamed the name switch-up on the fact it quickly ‘limited [her] me to things which were manufactured and grown in this area’.
Speaking about the launch on Instagram, she said: “As Ever essentially means as it’s always been, and if you’ve followed me since 2014 with The Tig, you know I’ve always loved cooking and crafting and gardening – this is what I do.”
The Tig was the blog that Meghan had run since 2014, but was forced to close in 2017, a year prior to marring Prince Harry.
In a slight dig to this, she added: “I haven’t been able to share it with you in the same way for the past few years, but now I can so, as things are starting to trickle out there, I wanted you to hear it from me first.”

A lip reader has given their take on what was said between Meghan Markle and Prince Harry during an affectionate moment at the Invictus Games opening ceremony this weekend.
Harry and Meghan had all eyes on them at the event which was founded by the prince himself in 2014.
The couple put on an affectionate display, portraying a very loved-up image to people watching at home and in the crowds.
The event was held at Vancouver’s BC Place Stadium, and over 500 competitors watched on as the pair interlocked hands and shared kisses while holding each other’s face.
Jeremy Freeman, a forensic lip reader who spoke to the Daily Mail, analysed the conversations had by the Duke and Duchess of Sussex as they watched on.

Before Harry took to the stage to deliver his opening speech, he apparently turned to Meghan and gave some parting words.
According to Freeman, he said: “Okay…I’ll be back later.”
To which Meghan, grabbing her husband’s face, allegedly replied: “You’re amazing!”
But it wasn’t the only PDA moment that the two shared at the games.
Another intimate moment occurred while they were on a golf buggy – Harry’s hand placed on Meghan’s thigh.
The two were seen saying ‘hi’ and ‘hello’ as they travelled past those that had come out to support them.
The event came not long after Donald Trump’s recent remarks about the royal relationship.

And one body language expert noted that Meghan’s affectionate display on Saturday was the perfect response to the president.
Last week, Trump was asked whether he would question Prince Harry’s immigration status as per the new executive order, to which he responded: “I don’t want to do that.
“I’ll leave him alone. He’s got enough problems with his wife. She’s terrible.”
Speaking to the Daily Mail, body language expert Judi James claimed the couple’s interactions were a direct response to these claims.
She said: “Sitting in the stands watching the ceremony, Meghan displayed herself in several poses of pride and love.
“She clung to Harry’s arm, leaning in towards him like a fan and clutching his hand in an ownership gesture that seemed to (unnecessarily) let everyone, including Trump, know ‘He’s all mine’.”
She added: “Her body language looked somewhere between a teenager on a date night and a proud mom at a school open night.”

People think Meghan Markle took a dig at the Royal Family with her recent statement about her new brand.
Upon announcing her new lifestyle brand to the world earlier today, called As Ever, Meghan alluded to the sacrifices she had made to marry Prince Harry – including shutting down her blog, The Tig, in 2017.
The brand will launch on 4 March, alongside her new Netflix show With Love, Meghan, sharing her cooking, hosting, and gardening tips with celebrity guests.
She noted that the shop, named As Ever, will sell ‘fruit preserves’ and ‘non-medicated hair preparations’, as well as candles, stationery, and jewellery.
In an announcement video on her Instagram, she gave some recognition to her blog, which is where she says the passion started.

Meghan said: “As Ever essentially means as it’s always been, and if you’ve followed me since 2014 with The Tig, you know I’ve always loved cooking and crafting and gardening – this is what I do.”
Referencing sacrifices she made to be part of the royal family, she added: “I haven’t been able to share it with you in the same way for the past few years, but now I can so, as things are starting to trickle out there, I wanted you to hear it from me first.”
Speaking in the Duke and Duchess’ Netflix docuseries, Meghan’s longtime friend Silver Tree described her blog as ‘like your best friend telling you all the fun things you wish you knew about in one place’.

But a blog post from the now-deleted site has resurfaced from 2014, where Meghan wrote about the ‘pomp and circumstance’ of ‘Princess Kate’s’ wedding.
Who, ironically, went onto be her future sister-in-law.
In the post, she wrote: “Little girls dream of being princesses. I, for one, was all about She-Ra, Princess of Power.
“For those of you unfamiliar with the ’80s cartoon reference, She-Ra is the twin sister of He-Man and a sword-wielding royal rebel known for her strength.
“We’re definitely not talking about Cinderella here.
“Grown women seem to retain this childhood fantasy. Just look at the pomp and circumstance surrounding the royal wedding and endless conversation about Princess Kate.”
She closed down the passion project in 2017, a year before her very own royal wedding, despite saying that it had ‘evolved into an amazing community of inspiration, support, fun and frivolity’.
