Even with all the evidence that’s been amassed over the years, it seems like Keanu is consistently topping his last nice-guy act all the time.

Over time, it’s become clear that Keanu Reeves doesn’t like to touch people. While fans have reasoned that he may be very hands-off during photo ops so that he avoids being sued, given what else is known about Reeves, odds are he’s just that thoughtful.

In photos with fans (mostly women), Keanu will put his arm behind the fans, but won’t touch them at all; instead, he holds his hands back a bit. Often, Keanu’s hands are visible in photos, and he’s never been accused of putting his mitts where they don’t belong.

That alone has fans saying they “stan a respectful king,” but the story doesn’t end there.

Not only does Keanu keep his paws to himself while being photographed with fans, but he’s respectful of others in so many ways. A video of him giving up his seat to a woman on the subway (yes, Keanu also rides the subway like a normal non-rich human) once went viral.

He made a purchase at a movie theater concession stand so he could give a tongue-tied fan an autograph on the receipt. In another scenario, Keanu was staying at a hotel where a couple was getting married, and though they didn’t expect him to show up to the wedding, as he said he would, he did.

Keanu Donates To Charity (Mostly In Secret)

There have been many wild claims about Keanu Reeves’ charitable giving over the years, with his team even denying that he had donated over $30 million to charity at one point.

While that’s not a bad rumor to have circulating, it seems like Keanu prefers that his giving is done far under the radar. He even started a private charity in 2003 that helps children with cancer.

Keanu works hard on all his films, specifically John Wick, which involves very physical stunts. But there’s also a team behind Keanu that helps get the job done, and he clearly appreciates them.

When John Wick 4 wrapped, Keanu gifted the stunt team custom Rolex watches. Then, the Matrix Reloaded crew received Harley-Davidson motorcycles from the star.

Following the third Matrix film, Keanu also sent “expensive” champagne (no details on the particular price tag) to everyone who worked on each of the films. Keanu really isn’t afraid to put his money where his mouth is, even when it comes to negotiating his contracts.

In typical nice-guy fashion, Keanu took a pay cut for the film The Devil’s Advocate so that Al Pacino’s salary would be able to fit into the budget. It’s also rumored that Keanu took fewer back-end benefits (basically royalties) from The Matrix so that other people on the crew (and not solely those in front of the cameras) were able to benefit financially.

Keanu is also the kind of teammate that everyone on set can depend on. He was spotted helping the crew of John Wick 4 move their equipment during production, something that a star as big as Reeves isn’t expected to do.

Then again, given that he’s been sworn in as the internet’s boyfriend, it’s almost expected at this point that Keanu Reeves will always surpass expectations people have for him since he’s simply an amazing human being.
