No matter how often people try to ignore him, Ye — formerly known as Kanye West — always finds his way back into public conversation. This week, it’s because a clip from an interview he did nearly two years ago has resurfaced.
In October 2022, Ye appeared on the popular “Drink Champs” podcast, during which he discussed many controversial and divisive topics, including his recent stunt of wearing and selling clothing with the phrase “White Lives Matter.”At one point throughout one of his many long-winded rants in the interview, West starts to go in on Diddy, Meek Mill, and many others, saying, “As far as Meek Mill, Puff Daddy, whoever, none of these n****s. All of you fake hard n****s, f**k you!”
He continued, “You can’t shoot nobody anyway and the reason why you gotta talk is because you did a deal, you f*****g fed! That’s why you’ve gotta come at me, because part of the deal for you to be able to do all that and get out of jail is that you promised that you are gonna go pull my card.”
Although this is Ye’s most notable comment about Diddy, he expressed his frustration with the Bad Boy Records founder weeks before this interview.
In a now-deleted Instagram post, Ye shared text messages between him and Puff, where Diddy allegedly reached out saying, “N***a send me a address. Let’s stop playing these internet games. And don’t feel threatened. You’ll be fine. Just love.”
Unsurprisingly, West dismissed his offer

This interview with Kanye is recirculating due to the recent leak of the 2016 surveillance video that shows Diddy brutally assaulting his ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura at a Los Angeles hotel.
As a result, people on the internet are finding clips from other artists to use against Diddy to show that the music industry has always known that the music mogul always had a shaky persona.
