“Our principal concern at this time is Christian’s health and wellbeing,” a statement confirmed.

“While there is no current timetable for his return, we know Christian is getting tremendous care and we look forward to his full recovery.”

Barmore’s agent, Nicole Lynn, thanked Patriots athletic trainer Jim Whalen for “his absolute diligence and care over the last couple of days.”

“Thank you everyone for all the support, thoughts, and prayers. I’ll be back soon,” Barmore wrote on Instagram.

Veteran Patriots center David Andrews missed the 2019 season after blood clots were found in his lungs.

He returned in 2020 and the 32-year-old is with the Patriots for a 12th season this year.

Barmore was selected in the second round of the 2021 NFL Draft.

He is coming off his best season for the Patriots with a team-leading 8.5 sacks.

The rising star also racked up 13 tackles for a loss and was considered a bright prospect as an all-round lineman.

He signed a four-year contract extension worth $92 million, including $41.8 million guaranteed, in April.

The 6-foot-5, 315-pound tackle has played in 44 regular-season games, totaling 133 tackles, 12.5 sacks and 9 pass deflections.

Davon Godchaux will likely need a new partner to start the season.

Armon Watts, Daniel Ekuale, Jeremiah Pharms Jr., Sam Roberts, Trysten Hill, and Josiah Bronson will compete for a starting spot.

NFL teams and broadcasters are ramping up their preparations for the new season.

GMFB host Kyle Brandt has promised fans the revamped show will not be a disappointment when it returns today.
