MEGHAN Markle has headed home from the Invictus Games in Canada and won’t be spending Valentine’s Day with Prince Harry.
The Duchess of Sussex flew back to California on Tuesday, leaving Harry alone at his competition for wounded and sick service personnel and veterans.

The pair had arrived in Vancouver on Friday before spending two days in luxury ski resort Whistler.
Sources closes to the couple insisted the move was pre-planned so that Meghan could be with son Archie, five, and daughter Lilibet, three.
One source said: “This was always planned. Meghan is going home to be with her children.
“Meghan left the games in Dusseldorf early after five days to go home.
“This is Prince Harry’s event and she is there to support him but this was planned.”
But rumours had already been swirling about Harry and Meghan spending time apart.
And with Valentine’s Day coming up on Friday, questions will be asked about the pair not being together on the most romantic day of the year.
Harry already chose to spend his 40th birthday in September hiking with pals and away from Meghan.
And there has been talk of “professional separation” between the two in recent months too.
Harry is not expected to make any public appearances at the Invictus Games today.
Meghan tries tubing as Prince Harry coaches her on the snow on Invictus Games before she flies home early alone
It comes after Meghan shrieked as she tried her hand at tubing on Tuesday.
Despite her husband’s encouragement, the Duchess was heard squealing with fear before racing down the slope.
In a video, Meghan said: “No, no I really don’t want to do this.”
Prince Harry is heard giggling in the background shouting “feet up, feet up, feet up” before the Duchess flew down the slope.
The couple were seen holding hands at the Family and Friends Tubing event.
But Meghan’s flight home comes as a royal expert suggested they are increasingly living “separate lives”.
Speaking on our first ever Royal Exclusive Live show, Arthur Edwards and Jennie Bond lifted the lid on the power couple’s recent time apart.
This comes after it was revealed Harry spent the night of his milestone 40th birthday without Meghan as rumours continue to swirl.
The duke went on a hiking trip with pals to celebrate his big day – and failed to mention his wife, 43, in his birthday thanks message.
Although sources close to the couple insist it was Meghan who organised the lads’ trip, experts warned it could be a key sign things are not so rosy.
The royal couple have packed on the PDA throughout the opening days of the Invictus Games.
Meghan gave an “impromtu” introduction to Harry during the opening ceremony in which she gushed over the Prince’s parenting skills.
Later, in the stands, the pair were seen conspicuously giggling and smooching.
Royal biographer Ingrid Seward told The Sun that these “interferences” are simply not needed, given it is Harry’s precious event.
She said: “I thought it was unnecessary of Meghan to interfere with what is essentially Harry’s baby. She knows that.
“He really doesn’t need her. When Harry first launched the Invictus Games in London, he was launching it in front of his dad, his stepmum, and his brother.
“He doesn’t need Meghan there to introduce him. I thought it was really wrong and kind of detracted from what he was trying to do.”
She added: “Everything that Meghan does seems to be making everything about her.
“She should have let Harry get on with it himself, instead of interfering.
“She should have said ‘actually, let me step back and you do it’. He doesn’t need it [Meghan’s help]. Harry’s a very good public speaker.”
